Jason's POV

As soon as my son iris messaged me I started making plans to return to well... Home. The first real home I had ever really had. I didn't think I could do it. Going back would mean facing all the old ghosts of my past. And seeing her.

Reyna.

She had a daughter from what I had heard from Miles and apparently Reyna hadn't changed at all in appearance. Well sort of. I heard she still wore her long brown hair in a braid and didn't look much older than when she had when she was only seventeen. She may have been thirty seven now same as me but she didn't apparently look any older than twenty five. People kept me up dated on the camp since my son talked to me about it and now it was my time to go.

My plane ride was very unpleasant. My nerves were literarily everywhere. I couldn't believe I was going back after so many years. After everything I had gone through and now I'm going back to where it all began.

New Rome.

I could find my way there in my sleep but for some reason I found myself second guessing where I was going. I didn't even realize I was at the border until I heard a low whistle. "Well look who finally returned" a familiar voice said. "The famous Jason Grace" I looked around trying to find the old statues only to see it had been moved. A little more out of sight than usual big it still guarding the camp the best he can. That dumb god statue. "Nice to see you too" I smirked walking right past him knowing he wouldn't and couldn't stop me.

"Hello Jason Grace" I heard a voice whisper suddenly next to me. I knew that voice. It was the voice I had spent so long dreaming about. Remembering.

I sucked in a quick breath. How'd she find me so fast. "You can't just come barging in. He already told everyone you're back by contacting me" she said walking up so she was in front of me. I didn't dare look at her. I would surely die if I had to face her again.

"Hello Reyna" I whispered finally looking up. She was stunning. Her praetor cape causally laying on her shoulders ontop of her SQPR shirt and some white jeans. She still looked exactly as she had when I left her. It felt like I was seventeen again making a decision between her and Piper. The wrong decision.

"Your son is this way" she said walking away towards New Rome expecting me to follow
