((This is a bit of a bonus chapter more focused on some of the students at Hogwarts while you're in New York, feel free to skip this chapter if you don't feel like reading it. I don't think it'll affect the story too much))

Ray was wandering the halls of Hogwarts on a random Friday evening. They didn't really know where they wanted to go, so they just kept wandering until they came across the Astronomy tower. Ray remembered hearing that the stars were supposed to be in peak viewing position that night, and they decided to go up and look for themselves.

Once Ray had reached the top of the Astronomy tower they were met by a familiar face. "Hey Luca," Ray smiled at their friend who was already up in the tower looking through the scope at the sky.

Luca jumped, startled by Ray's sudden appearance, "oh," he chuckled, "Hey Ray," he smiled back at the familiar face once he realized who it was.

"Sorry," Ray ran their fingers through their hair, "I didn't think anyone was up here," they admitted sheepishly. "I didn't mean to startle you," they promised.

Luca shook his head and waved his hand away, "it's alright, I'd rather be startled by you than anyone else in this school," he chuckled.

Ray took a step closer to the scope, "can you see anything yet?" They asked. They were bouncing childishly on the platforms of their feet.

Luca nodded and smiled, "yeah, it's really pretty," he stepped aside from the scope to let Raymond look through it, "look," he commanded.

Ray stepped in front of the squatted down to peer through it, "wow," they gasped, "they're so bright," they whispered in awe. It was kind of cute how similar they were to a small child in a candy store at that moment.

"Aren't they?" Luca asked, "here, look at this one," he repositioned the scope to look at a different section of the night sky.

Ray gasped again, "is that Orion?" They asked. They repositioned themselves so they were in a better position to look through the scope.

Luca chuckled, "Yeah," he smiled, "the most visible he's ever been," he explained, "at least from Hogwarts."

Ray stood back up, with a big smile on their face, "thank you for letting me look," they chuckled, "I wouldn't have known where to go if I was up here alone," they scratched at the back of their neck awkwardly.

Luca nodded, "of course, they're your stars too," he chuckled, with a smirk like grin on his face, not fully thinking about what he had just said to them.

Ray felt their face begin to warm up, "u..uh.. yeah..." They forced a small laugh and held their arm with their hand, making them take up as little space as possible.

"Here," Luca moved the scope again, "check this one out," he smiled at Ray and motioned for them to look through the scope once more.

Ray looked back through the scope, "holy shit," they gasped, "is that the Cancer constellation?" they asked in awe.

Luca chuckled, "yeah," he stated, "the most sensitive and fragile zodiac, beautifully visible from Hogwarts castle," he couldn't help but laugh.

"He's also the most loving," Ray rebutted, "I think he may also be one of my favorites," they stated. They stood up from the scope but continued to look through the window in front of the scope.

Luca couldn't help but smile at Ray's simple comment, even though they probably didn't even realize what they had said, "I'm a Cancer," he mumbled.

Ray chuckled, "I know," they turned to look at Luca, "I've known you since our second year," they shook their head in a fake and teasing disapproval.

Luca blushed and rubbed the back of his neck, "oh, right... I forgot you know when my birthday is..." he chuckled awkwardly.

Ray rolled their eyes, "You're such a nerd," they chuckled. "Do you remember when my birthday is?" They asked teasingly.

Luca scoffed, "of course I do! It's August 27th," he crossed his arms over his chest and turned his head away from Ray, pretending to throw a fit.

Ray smiled, "just checking," they teased. They looked through the scope again. "Proud to be a Virgo," they chuckled quietly.

Luca caught himself staring at Ray, he clenched his fists around the fabric of his sleeves. "It's getting late..." He mumbled, "we should probably get back to the dorms..."

Ray sighed, "yeah, I guess we should probably head on back shouldn't we?" they stood back up and crossed their arms over their chest.

Luca started to walk towards the exit of the astronomy tower, but Ray didn't move and they accidentally collided with each other, "bloody hell," Luca chuckled awkwardly, "sorry."

Ray chuckled back, "it's okay," they smiled, and even though they knew they were blushing at how closely Luca and they were together. Feeling Luca pressed against their chest like that, it felt awkward, but at the same time, it felt right.

Luca caught himself staring into Ray's eyes for a moment, they were a blue that put galaxies to shame, they sparkled more than all the stars that were collected in the sky. It didn't make sense, but Luca felt like he could swim in the galaxies of Ray's eyes.

"I... I uh..." Luca cleared his throat, he didn't know what to say, he didn't want to move, he didn't want the moment to end.

Ray smiled and pulled Luca closer to them, and before Luca realized what was happening, Ray's lips had been pressed softly against his. Luca felt a jolt of heat run through his body, and a shiver ran down his spine, what was happening? was this real? was he about to wake up from this incredible dream? He didn't want to: He didn't want to wake up. He wanted to stay like this forever, stay here, with Ray, just like this.

Luca kissed Ray back with want, desire, and passion, Ray pinned Luca against the wall of the astronomy tower, kissing Luca more deeply as they did so.

Ray pulled away after a moment, breathing heavily, and face warm, "you have... no idea.. how long I've wanted to do that..." they chuckled with a large, childlike grin on their face.

Luca couldn't help the blush that spread across his cheeks, "you should have done it sooner..." he whispered.

Ray leaned in to lightly kiss at Luca's Jawline, "then I guess we'll just have to make up for lost time," they whispered seductively.

Luca shivered, he wasn't even really sure what was happening at that moment, all he knew was it felt incredible, and he didn't want it to stop.
