Chapter 23:-

General point of view:

Barry, Caitlin and Cisco were at S.T.A.R. Labs and the tension was rising.

They both would sneak glances at each other and when their eyes met, they would blush.

When Cisco went down to his workshop, that's when the awkwardness began.

"Oh god!" Caitlin shouted in frustration.

"What's wrong?" Barry asked confused.

"I just can't figure this s***out!"

"Woah woah! I didn't know you spoke with such foul language, Ms. Snow," Barry smirked.

"Very funny," Caitlin rolled her eyes.

"Look. You just have to combine the two former particles with the outcome of this thing," Barry pointed.

"This thing? A CSI and The Flash and you don't know what that is called?" Caitlin teases.

He rolls his eyes playfully and she continued working.

Within a few minutes, the awkwardness was back...

Barry thought of an idea and smirked.

"Cait can you help me with this?"

"Sure," she answers, walking into the med bay.

He gestures her to the small table and she takes a look at the substance.

"Well....it looks like it's aci-" she's cut off by Barry inching closer to her.

"What are you doing?" She asked furrowing her brows.

"Nothing," Barry answers getting closer to her.

Soon, their faces were inches apart.

He glanced down at her lips and then back up to her eyes.

"Hey guys!" Ralph shouted, entering the cortex with Cisco.

The couple scrambled away from each other.

"Hi Ralph," they greeted awkwardly.

"I'm going down to Coast City to see Patty. You guys want anything?" asked Ralph.

Caitlin: "Nope."

Cisco: "Nah."

Barry: "We're good."

"Okay, bye!"

"Bye!" The rest of them shouted.

The meta alarm was now going off.

"Guys, two metas on Jefferson Street," Cisco informed.

"Oh look! It's Killer Frost and The Flash," the male meta informed what seemed to be his sister.

"They're both quite hot, don't ya think?" The female meta said.

"Yes yes, they are. How would ya like to be even hotter?" The male smirked.

The two metas joined hands and they turned to flames. (like Firestorm)

"I'm gonna do the same thing to the girl that I did with Firehawk," informed Barry.

K.F. nodded and went to the male meta.

"Hey cutie!" She shouted.

"Hello, Frost!" He smirked.

"You wouldn't mind coming with me, would ya?" K.F. spoke cutely.

"What are you gonna do?" He questioned.

"Whatever you want me to do," she smirked.

The meta pulled her towards him.

He leaned in to kiss her, but Barry knocked him out from behind.

"I could've frozen him, ya know," she rolled her eyes.

"But that would mean you'd have to kiss him," Barry pouted.

K.F. laughed and leaned in.

"If I didn't know better, I'd say you were jealous, Flash," K.F. whispered.

"Of course not," he huffed.

"Uh-huh. Go get that chick!" She ordered, pointing to the knocked out female meta.

"Yes ma'am."

They carried the two metas to the pipeline and went back to the cortex.

''Well done! I must say, Frost, that was some pretty good flirting."

"Thank you Cisco," she said turning back into Caitlin.

"And Barry, you seem to be full of jealousy this morning," Cisco teased.

Barry rolled his eyes once again and they laughed.

Cisco's point of view:

"My ship was flirting with each other!"

"The tension is slowly building back up. All they need is to be alone in one room."

"Kinda like what I did for movie night."

"But Barry needs to remember their relationship."

"This needs to happen on its own... but how?"

General point of view:

"Where's my favorite person in the whole wide world?" Felicity asked entering the cortex.

She came in and hugged Caitlin.

"What are you doing here?" Cisco asked.

"I'm here to take Team Flash on a trip," she replied.

"Where?!" Cisco exclaimed excitedly.

"To the lake," she answered.

"That ought to bring back Barry's memories," Cisco thought.

"Let's do it!" Cisco cheered.
