Confession

Chapter 7:-

Caitlin's point of view:

I woke up in Barry's bed, with his clothes on, and a butterfly-filled stomach.

I was literally snuggled into Barry's chest all night long.

I headed downstairs to find Barry making pancakes.

He turned his head towards me and said, "Good morning Caitlin."

I didn't answer though. I couldn't. I was too distracted.

Barry Allen was standing right in front of me, making me breakfast...with no shirt on.

I swear a little bit of drool came from my mouth.

I know I shouldn't be staring, or having any of these thoughts towards him, but damn did he look good.

His perfectly toned abs, messy air, and adorable smirk...

Wait! Smirk?

"Like what you see Dr. Snow?" He asked inching closer to me.

"Uh...well..."

"I'm kidding Cait," he said. That adorable smile returning on his face, and glistening eyes looking at me.

"Order up!" He said placing a plate of pancakes in front of me.

"Thanks," I replied still blushing from what happened a few minutes ago.

"Cisco called. He says he has a surprise for you."

"Oh really? Do you happen to know what that might be?'' I questioned.

"Maybe......but you have to wait till we get there."

"Fine," I gave in.

(Time skip...)

"I present to you, my latest and greatest invention yet...the power- dampening necklace," says Cisco.

"Thank you Cisco," I said hugging him.

I put it on and I immediately felt my powers finally feel...secure.

"Okay. I'll be in my workshop if you need me," Cisco informed.

The two of us were now alone...again.

After a few moments of awkward silence, I finally spoke up.

"Look, Barry, I really hate the tension that's been lingering between us.... and if you want....we can talk about it. What happened...I mean," I rambled.

"Do you regret it?" He asked sadly.

"No...do you?"

Before I could register what was happening, Barry's lips were on mine, and his hands were on my waist.

"Of course I don't," he whispered, pulling away.

Before we knew it, the alert app was blaring in our ears.

"Central City Bank, robbery, meta," Cisco says entering.

"Be-'' Barry rushes out in his suit.

"-careful," I finish.

Barry's point of view:

"Cait! It's Tony Woodward," I shouted over the comms.

"Girder? But he's dead."

"It's probably his Earth 2 doppelganger."

"Okay. Supersonic punch?" Cisco asks excitedly.

"Supersonic punch," I confirm.

"Hello Flash," Tony says.

I stay silent.

"Not up for talking. I see," he says swinging his metal hand at me.

I manage to dodge the first couple shots, but the last one hit right on my shoulder.

I did the supersonic punch with my good arm, and he was knocked out.

I locked him in the pipeline and sped to the cortex.

"Super Sonic Punch baby!!!" Cisco shouts and I laugh.

"Also, his name is.....Titanium. Don't worry I'll come with something cooler....eventually," he continues.

I turn to Caitlin but she looks angry.

"Sit." She demands.

I immediately sit on the med bay while she helps me.

I have to admit....she's pretty hot when she's mad.

"Bye!!!" Cisco shouts, not wanting to get caught in Caitlin's wrath.

When I was fully healed, I turned to Caitlin who looked a little calmer than a few hours ago.

"I told you to be careful, but you never listen."

"Uh-huh," I reply getting up.

"You could've broken your hand, or worse," she shouts again.

"I know," I respond wrapping my hands around her waist.

"And?"

"I'll be more careful," I answered leaning in.

"Good," she whispered before pecking my lips.

I didn't really know what we were at that point.

Just friends? A couple? A couple of friends who have called each other baby at some point in time.

Whatever it was...I liked it.

We ended up falling asleep in the med bay, holding each other in our arms.

Cisco's point of view:

I walked into the cortex to find my two best friends cuddled up together on the med bay.

"There is no way those two are just friends," I thought.

Whatever they are, they're soooo damn cute!!!!
