Your POV

You let out a long, histrionic sigh and fold your arms across your chest. You were waiting for your best friend, Dan to come pick you up for the movie. Unfortunately, he was always late for everything. You bit your bottom lip and straightened up, about to leave, when suddenly Dan raced down the street.

"Y/N!" He called, out of breath.

You chuckled a bit and gave him a sheepish wave, "Hey Dan."

He caught up to you and put a hand on your shoulder. Breathlessly he said, "Sor-ry I'm late." He took a deep, theatrical breath and rested his head in the crook of your neck. He let out a deep, throaty groan and nuzzled his face into your neck "I'm so unfit..."

You laughed bashfully and patted his back awkwardly, "There, there Daniel. It happens to the best of us."

He laughed and pulled away, fixing his hair, "Come on. We'll be late for the-" His eyes widened to the size of plates, "The bus is leaving!"

You spun around to see that the bus was in fact departing. Looking back at Dan, you nod and race after it, waving your arms like crazy, "WAIT!!!!" You screamed, hoping that the bus driver would be able to hear you, but of course her couldn't.

The bus drive off, leaving you and Dan on the curb, panting.

You groaned inwardly and look up at Dan, "Gracias Daniel, for making us miss the bus."

Dan laughed a bit, still slightly out of breath. He gently draped a long, lanky arm around your shoulders, a bit awkwardly, "Sorry, love."

You blush slightly and look up at him, smiling shyly. He looked down at you with his big, brown eyes, that had always reminded you of a sweet, innocent eyes of a puppy. Dan slowly turned to face you, full on, his other arm snaking around your waist. His happy being turned into one full of chimerical and dreamy expression, as he slowly leaned in, resting his forehead against yours.

You blinked, you eyes flickering down to his lips. A small smile played on your lips as your eyes danced back up to his eyes.

Without warning, Dan pulled away and motioned toward the road, "You're bus is waiting madame."

You rolled your eyes dramatically, "You are such a fucking tease sometimes Daniel."
