"Hey, come in." I spoke, moving out of the way to let Jaebum in.
We walked towards the living room and plopped down on the sofa. The tv played quietly in the background and I looked down at my lap, playing with my fingers.
"I saw you at the clinic earlier, is everything alright?" He asked causing me to look up at him.
"Yeah, just got a bit of food poisoning that's all." I answered.
"How's Jiyeon doing? The baby okay?" I questioned, not really wanting to hear the answer.
Jaebum must've sensed this because he grabbed my hands and held them gently.
"Baby, we don't have to talk about her, okay. She means nothing to me now but I can't just walk out on my unborn child and her."
"Yeah I know." I smiled weakly.
"I love you, Jasmine."
