She was running, it was cold and her breath was visible as she ran to the bridge.
She had tears running down her face and her hair flying behind her. She made it to the bridge; and she didn't really want to do it in public but her older brother had been keeping a closer watch than usual. She had had enough.
She got to the bridge, luckily it was midnight and there were no cars around. There was no one around. She quickly got on the railing of the bridge, she sat there for a moment thinking of what her friends and family would think. She didn't think long.
With her fingers loosely wrapped around the railing of the bridge, the shoes on her feet weighing her down like the longer they dangled over the edge of no return the heavier they got. Her thighs were cold as the denim fabric held no warmth against the cold metal. She looked down at the current; it was sure to take her away. Her jacket dared to take her back to the sidewalk as the cold wind blew the heavy jacket back, her beanie almost falling off her head as her eyes widened slightly as the wind blew her back slightly. She could hear deep screams of a distressed teen, her eyes teared up again. She could hear her name getting louder and louder.
That's when her hands let go of the railing as her hands stretched out, welcoming death like an old friend. Her feet dragging her down; her beanie flew off, her brother was a second too late.
The hat was all he could grab. He screamed bloody murder as he saw his sister fall to her demise. He felt as if his heart was ripped from his chest, like his lungs had stopped working altogether losing the will to work as he heard the distant splash of water.
He had acted quickly pulling out his phone calling the police. They had arrived quickly as he told them what happened tears running down his face.he handed the officer her hat and collapsed to the ground.
He had lost everything.
They had found her body. It was purple and blue, her eyes were closed.
She looked peaceful.
