"If I have to hear that goddamn Vine one more time, I swear to god." you left the threat open ended as you rolled onto your stomach. The volleyball player's thumb hovered over the play button as you tangled your fingers into the grass. Narrowing your eyes at him, you slowly moved yourself so you were in position to pounce.

"Like you'll really do anything about it F/N-chan, you're about as dangerous as a puppy." it happened in slow motion. Hinata pushed his screen and you swiped out with your hand, flinging his phone far enough away so that one of you would have to roll multiple times to snag it.

"Today is one of the only days that I get to come see you, and this is what you want us to do? I get the watching clouds part, but why do we have to listen to old Vines? I hear those enough at work."

"I don't think you understand how art works."

"You have some nerve Hinata. Coming to my house, and telling me what art is."

"F/N, you came to my house."

"That's beside the point." you watched from your stomach as he took the small trip and back to retrieve his phone. "Let's just enjoy the freedom of the day; I haven't had a break from papers in a long time." He mumbled under his breath about how you never do anything he wanted, but even so, he slid his phone in his pocket.

Rolling onto your back once more, you sighed happily when he took his spot beside you again. Ever since your family moved away from your hometown, it's been harder and harder to make time to visit; especially now in university. Having a job didn't help either. But the pay was nice, and you were able to study through most of your shift.

With your hands on your stomach, and eyes closed, you let the sun's gentle rays kiss your skin. The additional heat to your body and the melodic songs coming from the birds mixed with the soft sounds of the trees swaying, was enough to make time stand still. It was enough to forget all your worries. A sigh broke you from you trance just as quickly as you had been put in one.

Opening one of your eyes, you looked at him through your lashes.

He was going the same thing. Hands under his head, eyes closed, smile on his face. He was so peaceful... So unguarded.

As quietly as you could, you rolled over to where your water was. After making sure he wasn't looking, you quickly grabbed it and returned to your spot. Suppressing laughter, you wiggled even closer to him and sat up. Just as you started pouring the water over his shirt, her tackled you, pinning you to the ground.

A shrill cry was replaced by laughter as the cool water splashed on you. The empty bottle now on your stomach and hands above your head, you wondered why you were the only one laughing. After several failed attempts to gain your composure, you were finally able to meet Hinata's strong gaze. You were about to ask why he didn't at least giggle, you hesitated.

There was something swimming in his eyes you'd never seen before—not in his eyes at least. Cheeks flushed, you averted your gaze towards your hands. Finally realizing just how compromising of a position the two of you were in, more heat flushed your face.

One of his hands let go of yours and pushed some fly-away hair from your face before gliding across your jaw line and caressing your cheek. He leaned down to give you one, two, three pecks on the lips before his forehead rested on yours.

"I really missed you." He broke the silence.

Leaning up to give him one last kiss, you responded. "I missed you too."
