That's your only thought at the moment. You told him he would love your sisters kid, but all he did was complain about how annoying children were.
"Iwaizumi Hajime, I'm going to prove you wrong." with a hand placing itself on your hip, a smirk rushed onto your lips.
"Oh please, F/N." his eyes rolled as he pulled up his slacks. "We've been married for six years, you should know what my stance is on children."
"Well Hana is going to make you eat your words."
His eyebrows shot up to his hairline skeptically, "Oh please, your sister complains about how annoying she is all the time."
But now as he slept on the couch with the said child sleeping on his chest, you couldn't help but chuckle. Honestly, all day you had seen how in awe Hajime had been with Hana that you found yourself falling in love with him all over again.
"So Hana, do you want to go to the zoo today?" at your suggestion, you could feel your husband physically cringe.
"Does Iwa-chin not want to come (Nickname)?" she tilted her head, her innocence easily able to pick up on Iwaizumi's body language.
"Of course he wants to come!" as soon as he was about to protest, you slid a hand around his back and pinched his hip.
He forced a smile on his face and squatted down to take the girls smaller hands in his own, "I always want to go to the zoo." then, he leaned forward to whisper (quite loudly) in her ear, "Don't tell F/N this, but I dont want to go to the butterfly room. They scare me." he pulled back with a wink, earning giggles from the girl.
That was the first time you felt your chest swell with pride.
You couldn't help but take a picture. After doing this, you place a blanket on the two, then you plopped yourself into a chair; you wanted to be comfortable before your sister came home. As much as you wanted to make Hajime take her to her room, the scene was too cute. Opening up your favorite book, you started to read it for the inth time.
After the morning trip to the zoo you took her to a pizzeria for lunch. It was a quick feast and then it was onto the aquarium. You didn't know that until Hajime pulled up to the parking lot.
"Oh Hajime!" the corners of his lips turned up slightly when heard your excitement.
Picking up on your eagerness, Hana leaned forward in her car seat. "Aunty, why're you so excited?"
As you went to look at her, you reached out to place a hand on her leg. "Sweetie this is where your Uncle proposed to me."
At the mention of love she swooned, she was already a romantic. "Oooh, Iwa-chin is so cute!"
Noticing a blush form on your husbands lips you pouted, "Slow down there Hana, you might steal my husband!"
"Aunty you don't have to worry about that!" her giggles couldn't be contained by her lips any longer, "Iwa-chin said he loved loved looooooved you!"
When he noticed the look you were giving him more heat crept up his neck. As if he knew what you wanted to ask, he mumbled sheepishly. "When I took her to the toilet earlier she made me talk..."
When you heard the jingle of keys from the front door, you softly closes your book. A groan left Hajime's lips as you shook his shoulder.
"Babe," you whispered, "her mother just got here... Can you take her to bed?" After he mumbled his compliances he rose slowly so he wouldn't wake her.
When everything was done and your sister thanked you a thousand times, you two were finally able to leave. Despite your offer to drive, Iwaizumi shut you down as you yawned, mumbling something about how he at least got a nap.
"F/N." Hajime hummed after pulling into the driveway.
"Yes babe?"
A blush rose to his checks, to hide his embarrassment he cleared his throat. "Let's have kids."
He didn't need you to clarify your next statement.
"I told you so." ---- Lmao wasn't this one lit???
