Synopsis

The Faerie King, infatuated with a human who dares to steal from his immense collection of varied jewels, decides to keep her within his palace. The King's court is a beautiful place of rarities the human woman has never before seen, and it is enough to make her yearn to unravel each wonder. After long, the King's court of mysteries isn't the only thing she wishes to understand as she grows closer and closer to the King himself.

A war brews, one that lusts for blood and demands the lives of many innocents. They must fight and be victorious, for if they do not succeed, the vices and errors of war will be at their feet...including that of death.

A Brief Preface From the Author

Though the chapter titles are all in Arabic (and it's all more-than-probably inaccurate, seeing as I do not speak Arabic), this story does not take place in the Middle East. One of the main motifs of this story is elegance, extravagance, lavishness...and I think that Arabic is extremely fluid and honeyed as a language, ergo it adds to what I'm trying to convey. Honestly, just look at the way the letters curve — it's such an extravagant calligraphy I'm simply jealous of it.

Apologies in advance for any linguistic errors.
