I was having an electrifying time staring at my bland teachers face when the lunch bell rang. Finally, class is OVER. Ugh. Stupid valley girl talk.

I laughed at myself while busily following the swarm of students heading for the lunch hall. But to my amazement, everyone in front of me stopped. Then they screamed and started running in the opposite direction. What? What's happening?

When the crowd cleared a bit, I saw what had caused my fellow students to revoke their natural instinct. There was an angry lunch lady gripping a menacing looking butcher knife. She was standing in between the door of the cafeteria and the hallway, blocking anyone who wanted to come through. At first I thought that she was just a bit angry, but then I saw a purple mask cover her face for a brief second, letting me know that this was an Akuma attack.

Great, I have to fight on an empty stomach.

I dashed into to the storage closet I had used the first time I got into my super suit. Not bothering to close the door properly I slipped into my suit while listening to the resounding clangs inside the school hall. After I hastily stuffed my school uniform into my backpack, I looked around to see if anyone had been watching me. Then I saw her, Dragonfly was awkwardly standing in the corner of the closet, fidgeting with her fingers. She glanced at me and gave a nervous smile. I stared at her and pointedly said, "Not fair, when you change into your suit a bright flash covers you." She shot me an annoyed look and elbowed me in the side before rushing out to confront the danger.

I slipped out of the closet to find Chat busy battling some sort of goop while Ladybug and Dragonfly were zipping around and dodging the Chef's attacks. Apparantly the Chef had the ability to turn the stuff they called "food" into living monsters. I rushed over to Chat and helped to distract the blob of food, constantly forming and deforming in order to dodge its sloppy movements. I turned myself into water and felt myself being absorbed into the food monster. I stretched my watery essence into each noodle, each soggy piece of bread, and each slice of lettuce. Almost everything in the world has a little bit of water in it, and I was going to use that to my advantage. I stopped the monster in its tracks, freezing every part of its body with water. Chat stepped back a bit and shouted "Cataclysm!" A dark orb formed in the palm of Chat's hand. Chat mockingly pranced over to the monster, then he lightly tapped it, causing it to disintegrate. I had slipped out of it just in time to avoid the wave of destruction. After reforming, I highfived Chat and said, "Well, that shore was easy."

Our victory was short lived, we only had a moment to celebrate when we were startled by a blood curdling scream. The Chef had created a kitchen stove and had thrown it into Dragonfly, knocking her out of the air and pinning her to the wall. Ladybug stepped back and shouted, "Lucky charm!" there was a bright pink light above Ladybugs head, then a pan dropped from it. It's too bad Ladybug didn't need to use it. I stalked toward the Chef, who had turned her attention to me and was smiling madly. I let all the hate rush threw me, and then I focused it into my hand. I let an icy grin cover my face as I observed my wet hand freeze over, turning into ice. Leaped at the Chef and slammed my fist into her head, slightly deforming her skull and knocking her unconscious. How about a taste of your own medicine!

Ladybug quickly de-evilized the Akuma as I ran over to Emily, who had lost all color in her face and was drooped over like a ragdoll. I was able to nudge the oven out of the way, causing Dragonfly to collapse on the floor.

Emily?! What's wrong?!

It was then when I saw the damage that had been done to her. A large butcher knife had been impaled in her chest, and it had been pushed in further by the oven that had slammed into her. There was a dull red seeping through Dragonfly's clothes, contrasting her vivid clothing. I panicked and started shouting hysterically, slumping next to Emily and pulling her into a tight hug. I felt her chest slowly rise and fall, each time more struggled than the last. I heard her heart beat become slower and slower, with each new thud turning the seconds into hours. Each shallow breath, each twitch of the eyes made me more and more certain of the terrible death that awaited her, which filled my heart with an unbearable pain. Tears trickled down my face and started to mix with the pool of blood on the floor, like an artist's red paint on a white canvas.

"No! No, no.... Don't leave! I need you! We need you! You can't die!" I shouted at her, desperately in need of her. My head fell into my chest as I screamed at her, trying to wake her up.

She's gone...

I turned my head and glared visciously at the unconscious body of the former Chef. I felt my tears mix with my liquid body as I formed both of my hands into razor sharp blades. each step I took filled me with more hate, more rage. I shook off Chat and Ladybug as they hopelessly tried to hold me away from the Chef, who was sprawled on the floor. She must pay.

Emily was a light, without her everything was dark, like a prison, forever holding you back. Everything was dull, and there was no turning back as I focused my hate into my hands, turning them as hard as metal, forming them into the perfect murder weapon.

I must get revenge.
