valentina's POV:

before me and abby went to the boys practice we had to stop at a store to get comfortable clothing since we only had our stuff from last night. it's just after 12 when we're finished buying clothes so we make our way over to the ACC. Great instead of sleeping in on a saturday morning after a party i'm going to mitch marner's morning practice. The uber dropped us off and we went to where the security guards were and we told them our names and stated that we were friends of auston and mitch. we take a seat in the fourth row with sydney and lucy. molly couldn't come since kannon was still throwing up.

"hey guys" abby says as we sit down

"hey" the both said giving us hugs "how long have you guys been here" i ask them

"not too long maybe 15 minutes" syd answers

"so how did you meet the guys" lucy asks

"we were at the game the other day and a guy came up to abby while i was in the bathroom and gave her 2 passes to meet the guys" i laughed

"and then when we were leaving mitch asked for her number" abby budded in

"MITCH ASKED FOR YOUR NUMBER" syd screamed

"ya. what's the big deal"

"mitchy has a crush" lucy said smiling

i slapped her arm "he doesn't like me"

"he wouldn't ask for just anyone's number" syd said

i just shrugged my shoulders and watched the guys practice.

"and if he does like her val would literally die. he's all she ever talks about"

"ABBY SHUT UP" i yell

"aww" syd and lucy both said at the same time

i rolled my eyes and continued to watch the guys practice. all the did was skating obstacles, stick handling and worked on their shots. at the end they split off into 2 teams and played a scrimmage.

about an hour later practice was done and auston, mitch, matt and tyler came up to us.

"woah you actually got out of bed and came" mitch said sounding shocked

"shut up marner" i said slapping his arm and hugging him. i saw out of the corner of my eye syd and lucy making eyes at us.

"so we're going out for lunch. do you guys want to come" auston asked

"we'd love to but i have 3 brothers that are going to burn my house down if i leave them alone any longer" i start

"and i have a mother who's going to send a search party if i don't get home soon" abby finishes

"we'll see you soon though" mitch asks hopefully

wow mitch marner actually wants to see me again

"for sure" i say

me and abby say bye to everyone and call an uber to take us home.
