it's been about two weeks since i saw all the guys and i miss them a lot. i've been talking with mitch a lot and we've been flirting a bit. right now it's christmas break. thank god i need time away from school. all i wanted was peace for two weeks but that's too much to ask from my 3 brothers. i was planning on sleeping in and watching movies but it looks like my brothers wanted to invite every single person they know to my house. luckily syd saved me for them. she asked if i wanted to go for lunch with her since we haven't seen each other in a while. of course i said yes. right now i was waiting for her to pick me up so we could go to this cute little restaurant downtown. a few minutes later there was a knock on my door. knowing it was syd i ran downstairs and yelled at my brothers. the only one that was home was zach.
"zach i'm leaving" i yell
"where are you going" he asks
"out"
"ya thanks no shit. where out" he says sarcastically
"out for lunch"
"with who"
"what the fuck are you a detective now. she's waiting i have to go. don't burn down the house"
"can't make promises with these guys" he laughs
i open the door and jump at syd.
"i missed you" i say hugging her
"i missed you too" she replied
"how's everything been" i ask
"pretty good. what about you"
"well i have to deal with 3 annoying boys and all there annoying friends for two weeks"
"aren't you like the youngest" she asks confused
"i thought so but guess not" we both laugh
"what's all the noise"
"my retarded brother and his loud ass friends. wanna go"
"yes" she replied and we walked to her car. we got in and she pulled out of my driveway making our way downtown.
"so have you talked to mitch lately" she asks
"almost everyday" i reply and i feel my cheeks heat up
"you know he talks about you. like a lot"
"no he doesn't"
"yes he does. whenever we're with him he mentions you"
"really" i cant help but smile
"ya val i think he really likes you"
"well we're kinda flirting a bit"
"WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME" she yells
"i didn't want to say anything just in case it didn't last"
"i'm so happy right now you have no idea"
"chill out syd. don't make assumptions" i say pulling out me phone. "ou he texted me"

i read syd the whole conversation and she freaked out. we finally arrive at the place and sat down to order our food. after we ate we walked around a bit and talked about everything that was going on in our lives. we had someone take a picture of us and it was really cute. so of course i posted it on instagram
