Jake:Maria!
He said looking at her and he tightened the towel around him

I looked at him and her and she smiled

~what the hell is she doing here~
They stared at each other for awhile

Jake:uhh...co-come in

I moved out of the way and she walked in the house
Maria:hi Jake

She said hugging him I was about to get mad because Jake was half naked and I didn't want her touching him
Kaden:I thought you were in Havana what happen

Maria:well...I wanted to come to Florida and see you I was looking forward to seeing you this summer but you didn't come and I was worried

I closed the door, I didn't even know what to do so I started to fidget with my nails

Jake:what about your school

Maria:My mom said I could finish what I left off next semester so it's fine
Then she looked at his waist and she touched it

Maria:what happen

Jake:oh...uhm I got stabbed leaving the bar I was doing business with someone

Maria:jake when are you going to tell your dad that you don't wanna be apart of this

I was getting irritated and I cleared my throat
Jake looked at me and walked over to my side

Jake:uhm Maria this is Bella
I smiled at her and she ran up and hugged me
"Oh....uhm hi"

she let me go and looked at me

Maria:your so pretty bella

"thank you"

~Maybe she's not so bad after all~

Jake:well im gonna go put on some clothes now so...

he said looking down at his towel he walked up the stairs and me and maria was staring at him but what made me blush was the fact that he had scratch marks on his back from earlier today

"so...where are you gonna be staying maria"

Maria:at a 5 star hotel with my mom...she wanted to see jake too

"you two are really close huh"

i said looking down

Maria:Yea...jake is like...my bestfriend

"i see...excuse me a moment"

She nodded

I went upstairs and saw jake in the bedroom putting on pants, i grabbed my pants and put them on then i grabbed my clothes

Jake:what are you doing

"im leaving"

Jake:why

"because i need to get home my mom is probably worried sick and plus you have maria here now"

I was frustrated i mean this girl was the love of his life and probably still is the only thing was standing in their way was me who knows he probably would catch feelings again

I ignored him and went downstairs towards the washer and got my coat i wrapped that around me and walked pass maria
