Gabi na at nagluluto kaming dalawa ni Alireza ng hapunan. Dumaan sina Nikolo at Zoel dito kanina para ihatid ang mga pagkain.

"Aray, ampucha!" Rinig kong sigaw ni Alireza.
Tumigil ako sa paghuhugas ng pinggan at agad na nilapitan si Ali. "What happened?"
"It's fine, hindi lang talaga ako sanay maghiwa ng pagkain." She chuckled.
I watched as her wound healed slowly. This is the amazing part of being a wolf, you'll heal fast.
"Sana ako nalang ang pinahiwa mo niyan." Sabi ko sabay turo sa pipino.
"It's fine, I want to learn," She smiled at me. "may I ask you a question, Emi?"
"Hm?" Tanong ko habang pinagpatuloy ang paghiwa sa pipino.
"Now that Evan's willing to fight for you, wala na sa utak mo yung potion diba?"
Natigil ako at pinag-isipan ng mabuti ang tanong niya. "If things will not end well, I'll act fast. I can't lose him."
"Bu--.."
"Ali, I told you. Mas pipiliin ko pang mawala ang lobo ko kesa mawala si Evan sakin." I said.
"But I don't want you to lose your Wolf, Artemis. That's a special gift from the Moon Goddess." She said.
I sighed. "I know," I said. "and death will be her consequence for me."
"I don't want you to die as well. I lost my mate already, I also don't want to lose a friend." She sighed.
I smiled at her before hugging her. "Salamat dahil nandiyan ka palagi para sakin."
"Of course. In times like this, kailangan nating magtulungan. I don't want you to end up like me, alone with a dead mate. I also don't want you to lose your Wolf and die soon." She hugged me back.
