Despite the unexpected abort order, this launch was textbook. Captain Hudson and I followed all procedures and checklist items.
Thanks to Captain Hudson's quick thinking, we were able to scuttle the missile minutes before it was to detonate.
Report from USS Greenville (SSN-772) confirms the missile landed in international waters, warheads intact, and was recovered without incident.
