Nature Break

Breathing the fresh air at last, free from the wrath of the other staff,
I stepped towards the wind, let it blow through my hair,
Brushed against the daisies, made crowns for the fair,
Smelled the sweet air and smiled - quite the rare,
And paused for just a moment.

Just a mere minute,
In which I swallowed the nature around me.
Just a few seconds,
Brushing the tree trunks around me,
Smelling the cold, crisp air,
Pausing to see the world around me.
