Hazel's POV

"uhh.. hi Hazel"
Yugyeom replied looking into my eyes, his cheeks slightly flushing pink.

as soon as he looked into my eyes, my heart pounded.
I was suddenly lost for words because of how close we were.

"I.. uhh.. Jinyoung just"
My eyes stayed locked with his from my fear
".. sorry"

I felt really embarrassed and quickly broke eye contact, pushed myself off the floor and stood up.

Yugyeom looked up at me and reached his hand out for me to help him stand.
I quickly wiped my sweaty palms on my jumper and hauled him up.

As soon as I grabbed his hand, I felt my cheeks flush even more and I had to try my best not to let go and drop him.

once he was on his feet he looked back down at me and smiled.

"thanks"

I went to reply but only stammered again
I realised that I was still holding his hand and I quickly dropped it.

"it's okay"

He said calmly

"I know you feel awkward because you want to get back to Jinyoung"

his voice sounded slightly upset

my voice slowly found its way back up to my mouth

"Back to Jinyoung? what do you mean?"

he tilted his head and lowered his voice slightly

"I overheard you earlier, when you said you had feelings for one of Jackson's group members"

he sighed deeply and continued

"I put two and two together when I saw the two of you come downstairs afterwards"

he heard my confession.
my confession to Jinyoung about liking Yugyeom.
he just thought I was confessing to Jinyoung.

"oh, you heard that? Thank god it wasn't Jackson.
but.. no, Jinyoung and I aren't together, he's like a brother to me"

he looked back into my eyes

"who were you talking about then? Youngjae?"

I looked back up at him and raised an eyebrow

"I thought I was being obvious but I guess I'm not"

he looked confused for a moment until he had a sudden look of realisation

"I bet it's Bambam"

...so I thought.

I stepped forward and folded my arms

"It's you silly. I like you."

I don't know where my sudden confidence came from but I did it.
I confessed.
I did what Jinyoung wanted.

what he did next surprised me
he stepped forward and grabbed my hand

"I like you too."
