A/N

So this Chapter I had to go back and work on a bit more-after a fellow reader (@IAmUndefined) made some comments regarding my sentence structure, which were quite right-so i worked extra hard on this one. i plan to go back and fix the other ones too....

And I hope the Google translate wasnt too bad...

That's it!! Happy reading

xoxo

My heart melted instantly at the sight of them, the feeling to burst into tears was quite overwhelming. For what felt like hours we all just stood there looking at each other not saying anything. Suddenly, in the blink of eye Emily ripped her hand from the girls' and ran to my leg holding on with a ferocity I didn't know a 2 year old could have. Emily remembered me-dropping down to her level so that I could hug her first and then checking for any injuries from the crash but nothing too major a few bruises here and there but they were already healing nicely. Upon completion of my thorough examination I pulled her in another tight hug. Possibly squeezing a little too tightly that it might have hurt a little but the happiness radiating within, well that too was overwhelming. Looking up to see Amy-Lee reaching out for me, pleading me with her eyes to take her, it was difficult not having much practise but I managed to hold both, one on each arm.

"I'm sorry. I hope that this isn't a problem." I spoke without looking from the girls.

"No its fine-it's the happiest I've seen them. Are you family or something?"

"Or something..." not really sure myself how to categorized my role in their lives. Hearing footsteps and voices approaching us, it was then I remembered about Cole and Mrs Smith.

"Hey. I thought you went to get your bag?" Cole asked while taking in the girls in my arms.

"I did. But the girls came out and they recognised me." All the freaking out I had done moments before wasn't completely forgotten-this whole idea was still scary but it wasn't a question anymore 'if I can do it' it was a 'must' that I did. "Cole, I would like you to meet Amy-Lee and Emily. Easy way to tell them a part just look for the E or the A on their lockets."

"Hello, its lovely to meet you I'm your Uncle Cole." this surprised me 'Uncle Cole' where did that come from. Raising one eyebrow and giving him a WTF look, he just winked and answered without taking his eyes off the smiling girls, "Questions later."

The next two hours we spent playing with the girls, Cole was actually really great with kids much to my surprise. As it turns out Mrs Smith had given him the answers he sought while I went to find my bag earlier, by mistake of course. Mrs Smith was not aware that the secrecy behind my plans extended to him, seeing that he was there with me to meet them, which was all perfectly understandable. Most shocking of all was his immediate acceptance of my decision, and how well he bonded with the girls; actually had the makings to be a pretty decent dad. That's if he would ever settle down, being was almost 30 and only ever in one serious relationship, granted that did end terribly sour and soon after that the 'man-whoring' begun.

Sitting on the park bench, enjoying the much needed sun, after being cooped in a hospital for almost a week my skin was loosing its colour; I watched and listen to them enjoying themselves. Cole had Amy hanging upside down and Emmy riding one leg I could barely make out what Emmy was saying but it sounded something like "my turn" . Cole looked exhausted but he was having fun too.

"He's wonderful with children. Maybe you can convince him take a child too." Mrs Smith said taking a seat on the bench.

"My brother, kids...he's more the type that will play with them and then be happy to give them back later." chuckling at the absurdity of the idea my brother having kids.
