Can't take no more. (Minho - SHINee)

You return to your empty home tired. You have been living with your boyfriend of 2 years in this apartment. Choi Minho of SHINee had confessed to you on your very second date. You had moved in with him after a year of dating. But now all that remained was your empty apartment because he was busy with his schedule. He has been staying in the dorms for last couple of weeks and you hardly ever got to talk or meet with him.

You were already frustrated with your work, you were on your verge of loosing your dream job and you have had enough with Minho's behaviour with you. All he ever did was ignore you and he no more seemed like the guy you fell for. You had decided to talk to him today no matter what.

You waited for him but again he didn't show up. You sat on your couch surfing channels because you were pretty sure that you had insomnia. It had been a week since you had proper sleep, sometimes none at all. 

The next day when you were coming back home you decided to call Minho and break things up because you couldn't handle it no more. While you were opening your door you reminded yourself to call Minho home and have the 'talk'. You see Minho on your couch in deep sleep. You sigh and go to your bedroom to freshen up; because he was home after so long you started preparing for dinner.

"__________, when did you get back? Why didn't you wake me?" You hear Minho say in his croaked voice.

"Just a while ago. I made dinner, come." You say smilingly, "Maybe our last dinner together", you think.

You placed the food and dishes on the dining table when his phone rings, "Yes? Now? I thought we were done for the day. Everyone for the meeting? Can't we postpone it? Hmm.... ok. I'll be there in 10 minutes." You hear MInho talk on the phone. "There he goes again!" You think.

"__________, I have to leave." Minho says with slight annoyance.

"Before you leave, can we have a little talk please?" You ask.

"Please, let's talk when I get back. I'll come home soon I promise." Minho says as he is walking out the door.

Just like his other promises, he failed to abide by it. It was already 12.30 am, you were trying hard to get some sleep when you hear your apartment door open and close. You see Minho walk towards your bedroom. "Minho!" You half yell.

"_________, you scared the bejesus out of me" Minho exclaimed while stumbling backwards.

"Sorry, but we really need to talk." You are now on the verge of crying.

"________, not today. I am too tired." Minho says while walking towards bedroom.

"It's now or never." You simply states. He stops at his track and turns to face you. "What did you just say?" He half whispers half yells.

You burst out crying. "I am tired alright. I can't it anymore. I haven't had proper sleep in a week and we haven't even had one decent conversation in a month. It's so frustrating, it's getting harder and harder for me just to live through my job and then this." You just fall down crying. "Let's just...... *sniff* break up. *sniff* I am sorry." You say while burying your face in your hands.

Minho runs to you and hugs you tightly, he gets scared for a moment because he had never seen you cry like this before. "I am sorry ________, I didn't know it so tough on you. I really am sorry, I should have paid more attention. You look so frail and pale, I should have understood, you were having a rough time." Minho says while caressing your hair and wiping your tears.

You look up at him and hug him tighter, maybe you needed this outburst, to get it all out of your system. You cried for almost an hour before you fell in deep slumber.

Next day you woke up on your bed beside Minho protectively clutching onto you in his arms. You smile at the sight, it had been ages since you cuddled up like this.

Minho open his eyes and give a quick peck on your lips. "Good morning sweetie." You just smile as a response.

"We are going on a trip this weekend, I have already cleared my schedule and asked to not bother me for next 4 days. But first take rest, as much as you want. You need it badly!" Minho says while kissing you on your forehead.

You smile and pull him to kiss. You both kiss so intensely that you forget all about your sleep.

"I won't disappoint you from now on, I promise and I intend to keep my promise this time." Minho states.

"You better do. I missed you so much, I love you!" You tell him while pulling his cheeks.

"I love you too, I won't ever leave your side, ever again." Minho promises while pulling you again for another deep kiss.
