Part 9

You rushed out to the main gate.

An army is running towards the gate. Outside the gate is a bunch of ugly-ass monsters charging for the gate.

" PREPARE FOR BATTLE !! " The valkyries shouted.

" Your majesty , please look after the princess for me , I'll help with this war. " You said to the queen.

" Very well then , go. " The queen smiled.

You drew both of your swords out from your back.

" It's now or never. " You charged.

*** SCENE CHANGE ***

The monsters are breaking through the gate.

The army waited inside the gate. You stood in the front line.

" Any last words ? " Elizabeth came beside you.

" Don't die. " You smirked.

" You too , scissor. " Elizabeth teased.

The monsters broke the gate.

" ATTACK !! "

" RWWAAAAAA !!! "

You charged first , slicing the first goblin that came in. Your movement is so fast that the goblin only have time to blink before their head leaving their body.

You won't stop swinging your swords , blood are spilling everywhere.

CHINGG !!! Your swords was clashed by another goblin.

You looked carefully. This goblin is different, he's not huge , he's not tall , he's same height as you and he's more... human-like. He even have abs and muscles. He's holding a long red blade.

You stepped back.

" So... you're the princess bodyguard? " The goblin asked.

" Who are you ? " You asked.

" My name is Klemir, I'm the leader of my tribe. Hand me the princess , and we will retreat in peace. " The goblin smiled.

" She's not an item. " You said and swinged your sword at him.

Klemir jumped and spinned. You looked up and got kicked in the face. You stumbled back.

" Give up , you can't win me. " Klemir said calmly.

" No.. YOU give up. The princess... belongs to me!! " You charged at him again.

Klemir deflects your swords easily.

" Let me help !! " Elizabeth suddenly appeared above you , landing her giant hammer on Klemir. Klemir dodged it.

" He's strong. " You said.

" There's a weakness- " Klemir swing his blade but Elizabeth blocked it.

Both of you attacked continuously on Klemir but he dodged it like he's dancing.

You and Elizabeth is running out of breath.

" Hey _____ ... " Elizabeth called you.

" Yaa ? "

" Remember the move we used on the giant bull ? " Elizabeth asked.

" You mean the minotaur? " You asked.

" Yup. Are you thinking what I'm thinking ? " Elizabeth asked.

" You're damn right I am. " You smiled.

You and Elizabeth start running two different ways around Klemir.

Klemir watched and waited calmly.

" HAAAA !! " You swing your sword , Klemir dodged it.

" Behind you ! " Elizabeth shouted and slammed her hammer on the ground.

Klemir is losing his balance.

You swing your sword down , Klemir blocked it. Both of you and Klemir sword clashes.

It's working!! You thought.

Elizabeth smashed her hammer on both of you and Klemir sword , pushing him down into the ground , now his legs are stuck in the ground.

" NOW !! " Elizabeth shouted.

You jumped on top of Elizabeth hammer , and jumped again.

You hold tight on your second sword , flying down towards Klemir.

Elizabeth pulled away her hammer , opening a space for you.

" NOOOOOO !! " Klemir shouted.

You sword pierced through Klemir head straight into his body.

You landed.

" Your leader ... has FALLEN !! " You shouted.

The monsters stopped their attack , and start retreating.

The valkyries cheered.

You watched the monsters leave.

The sun is setting.

You felt your body became weak... you fell down on the floor...

" ____ !! " Elizabeth shouted.

Your eyes slowly closing.
