When Craig woke up, he was able to see this time. Just like what he imagines he was in a hospital room. It was quiet, and the light seemed blinding.

Shortly after his eyes were able to adjust to the light and he noticed his friends lying on the chairs next to him. They were all leaning on each other and it made Craig feel uncomfortable just looking at it. It made Craig smile though seeing them stay here with him.

As he looked at his friends, a nurse entered the room. She noticed Craig looking at his friends and grimaced. "Your cousins have been here all night and refused to leave, it's been really inconvenient." Craig could tell by the way she said the word cousins that she didn't really believe the cousins story.

Craig wanted to argue and defend his friends, but he had to bite his tongue. He didn't want to run the chance of them getting kicked out, so he merely looked at her and said, "sorry." She nodded her head smugly and walked out of the room. Craig just rolled his eyes, she apparently doesn't have good friends.

Craig glanced back to where his friends were sleeping. He tossed back and forth whether or not he should wake them up. He knew they probably needed the rest, but he didn't want them to wake up with neck problems. So he reluctantly shook them awake starting with Clyde. Fortunately and unfortunately, for some reason, Clyde's immediate response to being jolted awake is to violently thrash which immediately woke up Token and Tweek.

"Sorry guys, I didn't want your necks to suffer because of me."

All three of them looked dazed and entirely out of it. Craig figured he would give them a minute to collect themselves and let what he said since in. When more than a couple of minutes went by, and nothing changed Craig got confused and worried. Craig tried to lighten the mood by making a joke, "gee I'm glad to see you too."

That was when Tweek burst into tears. Craig didn't know what was wrong, but he still wrapped his arms around Tweek trying to soothe him. Then Craig looked at the others for some sort of explanation when they just started sullenly a the ground Craig knew this wasn't just a Tweek thing.

Craig gently pushed Tweek away from him, so they were looking at each other, "do you mind telling me what this is about?"

In response, Tweek just buried his face into Craig's shoulder. Knowing that he wasn't going to get anywhere with Tweek and not wanting to make him more upset, he turned to Clyde. "Are you going to tell me what's going on or what?"

Clyde just bit his lip and looked at Token. For a fraction of a second, Clyde could see that hint of adoration that Token has for Clyde before he pushed it down. "I'll tell you Craig, but you have to promise me you'll stay calm and not doing anything you might regret later."

Craig could feel Tweek's ars tight around him as he said, "I promise."

Token looked at Clyde for reassurance before turning back to Craig, "your mom just went into the emergency room a couple hours ago. It turns out that she had internal bleeding and none of the doctors realized. She's not dead, but there's a high chance she won't make it through alive."
