Chapter Twenty-Eight: Skaigirl

Kane's POV:
We were outside the ark training. Grounders are fighting with each other and we were shooting guns at targets. Most of them weren't hitting the targets.
"Easy. Control your breathing. Squeeze the trigger, don't pull it," I said.
"Sir, we got an audience," A guard said.
I looked behind me to see grounders watching.
"Hold your fire," I said.
I reached out for a gun and a guard hands me one.
"Solid stance," I said as I shoot, landing right on target.
"Would you like to try?" I asked handing a gun to the grounder. "I could teach you, your enemy has guns. So should you," I added.
"Penn, stand down! You know better," Indra said.
"It's alright, I offered,"
"We don't need your weapons. Back to training all of you!"
"Guns could keep them alive. It's like they're afraid of them," A guard said.
"They are. Legend has it if a grounder picks a gun even to shoot another grounder, Mount Weather will wipe out their entire village. Can't have your blood supply defending themselves right?" Octavia said.
"They're unarmed. We can't win. Have you seen McKinley?" I asked.
I still haven't seen her. She isn't in her room either.
"Like hell, we can't and no haven't seen her. She was pretty pissed when Bellamy went to Mount Weather," She said walking off.
"We don't know enough about these people," I said.
"She sure seems to,"
I nodded and walked to Med bay to where Abby was.
"Have you seen McKinley? I haven't seen her since we walked back from TonDc?" I asked.
She was patching up a grounder.
"No, is she in her room?"
"No,"
"It's okay, we have an alliance with the grounders. She's not in trouble,"
"We have to focus on Mount Weather right now," She added.
"Abby-,"
"Marcus, your daughter is strong and she knows how to fight," She said.
"I guess you're right,"
"Where's your food, we are hungry?" Indra asked walking in.
"We don't have any at the moment," I said.
She looked like she was gonna rip my head off but storms off outside instead, I follow. The warriors are continuing to train
"Enough! Enough! I hope you've saved some energy for a hunt. I'm told our hosts have no food,"
"Time for one more?" Octavia said.
What was she doing? She'll get killed.
"Step aside, Skygirl. We're hungry,"
"Make me,"
Octavia was strong. Maybe, she could get the grounders to train with us.
"Fio, give this girl what she wants,"
Octavia takes out her sword so she can attack Fio.
"Sir," A guard said.
"It's alright. Let her go,"
"Let's do this," Octavia said
They start fighting. Fio easily overcomes her knocking her down and started to walk away. Octavia stands back up
"Hey, you gonna give up that easily?"
"She wants more. Oblige her," Indra said.
They continue fighting and he knocks her down once more.
"Indra, stop this,"
"Finish it,"
Octavia was knocked down once more and Fio turns to the other grounders as Octavia rises again ready to attack but he takes her down again
"Enough, even a fool knows when to surrender,"
I stepped towards Octavia and grabs her arm to pull her up
"I got you," I said pulling her to her feet. She tries to go back after Fio.
"I got you. What are you trying to prove,"
"What doesn't kill you, makes you stronger," She said walking off.
Her face was covered with blood and she was limping.
I walked to where Raven was.
"Raven, you haven't seen my daughter have you?"
She shakes her head.
"Does Clarke have a walkie?"
She shakes her head again.
"No, why? McKinley isn't here?"
"No. I'm getting worried,"
"I can go out and look for her?"
"No, she's probably fine. Just hiding out," I said.
"Possibly," She said.

Bellamy's POV
We were walking and Lincoln just stops.
"Why are we stopping?" I asked.
Lincoln saw a vial of the red drug and crushes it.
"You ok?"
"As soon as they open the intake doors we attack. Once they close I'll make it look like you escaped,"
"Then what?"
"The raiding party,"
"What are you doing"
"We have to go back it's the only way,"
"Go back! No way!"
"We have to leave before we can fight our way through,"
"We'll never get a better chance than this,"
"I thought I could do this but I can't ok, it's over,"
Lincoln is becoming scared. I need to take him back into it.
"No, it's not! You can join them. Listen to me when they bring out the red you grab it and you run like hell. The reapers will go nuts, the grounders will run and the Mountain Men will have to deal with it. No one is looking for a grounder running into the mountain,"
Lincoln puts a sack over my head.
Once we were in the mines, we hear the reapers coming.
"We need to fight. They'll think I'm trying to escape," I said
"This one tried to wander off,"
"He's mine. Put him on the log,"
They grab me and rush me to somewhere. I'm placed on my knees as the bag is taken off my head. I'm on my knees in front of two people and there was a bunch of other people.
"Harvest," A girl said.
"Next," A guard said.
"Harvest," She said.
"Next,"
"Harvest,"
"Harvest them all," She said passing me.
They grabbed us all and one by one threw us in a room where they hosed us down. Lonclon was right, it hurt like hell. That was the last thing I remember before blacking out. I woke up to being locked in a cage.
I looked over and saw this person but she speaking in Trigedasleng.
"I can't... I-- I don't understand you." She said.
"Sky person!" She said spitting on me
"I take it no one has told you we're not enemies anymore. I need to get out of this cage."
"And then what?"
"And then I'll kill everyone in this mountain," I said as I was trying to break out of the cage.
I hear the door opens
"Here they come. Quiet!"
The door closes
"Yeah. This one will do so." The man said pointing at Echo.
I started to kick the cage.
"We got us a live one." He said.
The unlocked the cage and as I tried to get out but they shocked me and I ended up blacking out again.

Clarke's POV:
I was on my way back to Camp Jaha with my mom when we were attacked by Mount Weather. Octavia got them before we could even do anything. She wanted to kill them but we needed them alive to tell us about Mount Weather. We are now at Camp Jaha.
"Jackson, we've got two patients. You get the radiation burns, I've got the gunshot wound." Mom said.
"Set him down," Jackson said.
"I need blood-- O Neg., a lot."
"This guy is from Mount Weather. We need to keep him alive."
"Lock him down. Whoa." Jackson said.
"There was a tear in his suit, but we fix it,"
Raven came into Med bay.
"Anything from Bellamy?" I asked Raven.
"No."
"Then why aren't you at the radio?"
"Octavia just took my place. How about you back off?"
I noticed that Jackson was trying to take this guy suit off.
"No. Leave it on. It's the only thing keeping him alive."
"Well, how can we treat a guy if we can't touch him?" Jackson asked.
"I can rig up some scrubbers in the airlock. Give me twenty minutes."
"Damn it. I'm losing him. I need the blood now!"
"Move."
"Okay. Come on. Stay with me. Come on. Fight!"
The grounder groans, and Abby sighs.
"He's gone." She said.
"Yu gonplei ste odon," Indra said.
"A killer lives while a warrior dies? This is your way?" Indra added
"I'm sorry, Indra, but he can help us beat Mount Weather," I said.
"Then let me make him talk." She said.
"No. We're not torturing him."
"Clarke's right. He might just talk because we saved his life." Mom said.
"You people are so weak," Indra said walking out.
"Are you okay?" Mom asked.
"He's gonna need a transfusion with our blood," I said.
"I'll type him as soon as we can take off that suit," Jackson said.
"Someone tried to kill you today. It's okay if you're upset." Mom said.
"Just another day on the ground. I'll be in engineering waiting for Bellamy to radio. Let me know when he wakes up," I said walking out.
When I walked outside Kane walked straight up to me.
"When you were coming back, you didn't see McKinley?"
"No, why?"
"She's missing, She hasn't been seen," Kane said.
"We'll look for her after we get done with Mount Weather unless she was grabbed by them," I said.
As much as I want to look for her, we couldn't spare the people and for all, we know. She's there in Mount Weather.
