It was nightfall before too long and I heard someone come in. It was Finn and Monroe.
"We're going after them," Finn said cutting my zip ties off.         "About time,"
"Hey what about me?" Murphy asked.
I walked close to him but Finn stopped me.
"He's the only who's been in their camp. He can show us the way," I asked cutting his zip ties.
       "He's right," Murphy said.
"Do you think anyone saw us?" I asked once we were outside the camp.
"Shh, keep it down," Finn said.
As soon as we entered the woods, there was a flashlight that hit us. My heart was racing.
     "You're late,"
"Yeah, Bellamy decided to add another one,"
"He's the only one that been to the camp,"
Abby handed Finn a gun and then handed Monroe another.
"Find my son. His name is Nathan Miller," The guard said handing me his gun.
      "Yes, sir,"
"Bring them home," Abby said as we left.
       ---
"Where to now, Murphy?" I asked.
     "How about losing these?"
      "No. Again,"
"If we get attack out here, I'll be defenseless,"
"I don't care. You threaten the life of my girlfriend who did nothing to you,"
Finn comes over to us and cuts the ties off.
    "Thank you,"
"What are you doing? I asked.        "It was your idea to bring him,"
"Yeah as he is the only one who has seen the camp,"
"It's probably best not to leave him defenseless," He said.           "We can handle Murphy,"
     "You better hope so,"
"Do I give a gun now?" Murphy asked smiling.
       I just shoved him forward.
We've walked at least four hours, and we finally have seen grounders.
       "Get down,"
"There it is. I told you I would find it," Murphy said.
I looked through the scoop of the rifle.
"All I see is grounders. Our friends aren't here,"
"Wait, they got stuff from the dropship," Sterling said.
        "Son of a bitch,"
"What?" "The one with the one eye,"
         I looked through the scope.
        "What am I looking at?"
"He has Clarke's watch. It was her father's,"
"She wouldn't give that up without a fight,"
       "Neither we will,"
"Okay, you're with me. Two you stay here be quiet. If this goes South shot the grounders but not the one with the watch,"           "Okay what about Murphy?"
"Do I get a gun now?" "Something like that," I said grabbing him and pushing him with us.
"We are going to lure him in with you clacking this stones. Once he's close enough, I'll hit him in the head,"
Murphy actually listened and did as he was told. One-eyed grounder heard the clacking and walked up to the tree and I hit him in the head with a rocked. Finn bent down and ripped the watch off his neck.
"We need to take him somewhere quiet," I said.
        "I know the place,"
      --
Finn took us to some old bunker that was hidden away.
"Where did you find this?" I asked when he woke up.
"I found it outside your camp,"
"That's a lie. She would never take it off voluntarily,"
"I know that. Where is this girl who was wearing this? Where are our friends? We know you took them. Just tell us,"
     "I don't know. I never saw a girl,"
"Another lie. Maybe if you stop asking him nicely,"
       "Shut up Murphy,"
"Murphy's right," Finn asked hitting him with the gun.
       "Where is Clarke?" He asked.
"Finn, stop. There are lines you don't want to cross. Trust me," I said pulling him off.
I let him go, and he goes and hits him again.
     "Finn stop!"
"Back off," He said pointing the gun at me.
"Finn, just drop the gun. We'll figure this out,"
"I'll give you three seconds to tell us," He said pointing the gun at the grounder.
      "Two,"
"Okay, they were taken East. Where we keep our prisoners of war. I can draw you a map,"
"Get him something to draw with,"
"And you think I'm the crazy one," Murphy said to me.
"Gather up your gear. We're leaving," I said.
       "What about him?" Sterling asked.
"We'll just leave him. We'll deal with him when we are done,"
"What if he escapes? He'll go tell his friends, and we be dead," Murphy said.
"We aren't killing him," I said.
"You're talking like you haven't killed a grounder,"
"That's what in battle. This would be an execu-" I started to say when I heard a gunshot.
I turned around and saw that Finn shot him.
"Let's get moving," Finn said.      Monroe picked up and my gun and we left.
  ---
"Keep running. This is grounder territory. Eyes peeled,"       "Everything is grounder territory. I can't keep running,"
      "Keep moving," Finn said.
"We can give them a minute,"
"No, we can't. You heard what he said-"
"Yeah, when you had a gun to his head,"
"Do you think I wanted to do that? If I didn't, He would have told his people we were coming,"       "You had to do what you thought was best. You aren't yourself right now and I can't be out here with another loose cannon,"
         "Guys," Monroe said.
I turned around and saw a bunch of dead bodies with flies surrounding them. We walked further down and that's when we saw the crash.
"That's a rough landing," Murphy said.
We stood there for a second.
"There's nothing we can do for these people,"
That's when we heard someone whimpering.
      "Someone's down there,"
      "Somebody help me please,"
       "Mel?"
       "Help me, Sterling,"
Finn looked at me and pulled me aside.
        "We have to go,"
"Finn, this isn't a grounder. We have a rope,"
"She won't be able to grab it. You saw her. We would have to lower someone down to get her. We don't have the time, our friends,"
       "Okay, I get it,"
       "Well come back for her,"
        "We moving-"
I turned around and saw that Sterling was already descending the mountain. We were all watching him that we didn't notice the rope wasn't tied properly and it slid down the mountain so fast that we couldn't reach it. Sterling hit the ground.        "Mel? Mel? Listen to me. You do this,"
       "No, I can't,"
"Yes, you can. You're strong,"         "I'm not strong. Maybe stubborn,"
That hit me hard. I shook it off.
"Maybe be stubborn a little longer," I said.
      "We don't have rope,"
      "We'll make a new one,"
"We need to save our friends,"       "I don't know if we could save our friend. For all we they could be dead. We all thought it. All we know is that we can save this one girl,"
"Sterling was one of us. She was his friend. I'm in," Monroe said.
      "How do we do this?"
"Find anything seat belts, wires, cloth,"
"I hope you're right about this,"
     "So am I,"
They brought me back all the stuff that I needed, and we made it into a rope.
"I'm coming for you. Ease it out slowly," I said descending the mountain.
"I got you. Put your arms around me,"
       "I'm seated,"
       "This will hold,"
       "Okay,"
    --
"Grounders!" Monroe yelled.        "How many are they?"
       "I don't know we can't see them,"
       I heard the horn.
       "Acid fog,"
We started going up the mountain and when we got up there, Mel fell into Finn. I looked and saw Murphy with a hurting hand full of the rope.
"We need to take cover from the fog," Finn said.
     "Bellamy?" I heard someone say.
       I looked up.
"No, we don't," I said getting up and going close to her.
     "She blew the horn,"
     "Octavia," I said hugging her.
      "Have you found McKinley?"
      "No," I said.
     "We'll find her,"
      Octavia goes and helps Monroe.
"Thank you for showing up at the right time,"
"I was heading back to camp when I heard shots being fired,"        "Nice foghorn. Where's your boyfriend?" Murphy asked picking up the horn.
Octavia knocked it out of his hands.
      "He's gone,"
      "I'm sorry, O,"
      She nods and gets up.
"The grounders will be back. We need to go now,"
        "Yes, we do,"
"Octavia says the arrow might be poisoned, I have to take them home,"
        "I know,"
"I'll meet you as soon as I can,"
Finn nods and starts to walk away. Murphy walked that was as well.
"Where the hell do you think, you're going?"
"Come on, Bellamy. You know if I go with you they'll just look me up again,"
I picked up a gun and I threw it at Murphy.
       "Really?" O said.
       "Watch his back,"
       --
"I know you. Factory station?" Abby asked Mel when we got back. Mel nodded.
       "Where's the others?"
      "There are no others,"
      "No survivors. Lots of supplies,"
        "Get her to medical,"
As soon as Abby left, someone ran and hit me hard to give me a hug. I soon realized it was Clarke and hugged back.
"There's something, I thought I never see," Octavia said.
"Was McKinley where ever you were?"
       "No,"
