Chapter 5

[Yuri's POV]

Single life. This is it! I can do whatever I want. Atleast we're in good terms ni Rhian. Diba?

I know I'm wrong. I hurt her and I'm sorry for her. I loved her I swear!

*knock knock

"You call for me?" she asked

"Yes. Please sit down Ms. Kyra." I said as I motioned her to sit

"Why did you call me?" she asked

"How are you feeling?" I asked

"I'm fine. How about you?" she asked

"I'm good. Do you want to have dinner with me?" I asked

"What about your girlfriend? She'll get angry."

"We just broke up a few days ago."

"It must be hard for you."

"No. I'm the one who do the break up. I just thought that it would be better that way." I said "So? Let's have a dinner together?"

She nodded happily in response.

"I'll fix my things." she said before leaving my office

Such a cute girl.

After a few minutes she arrived holding her bags and some paper works.

"I'm ready." she said while smiling

"Let me help you with your things." I said as I carried her paper works.

She smiled. The smile that makes my heart flutter.

[Kyra's POV]

dug.dug.dug

Ito lang yung naririnig ko ngayon. Para bang ang sarap niyang kasama.

We headed into a nice restaurant. A romantic place.

He pulled out a chair for me to sit. And then he pulled his chair.

Nag-order na rin siya after namin umupo.

"How's you and Troy?" he asked

"We just broke up." I said then smiled at him

"Why? It must be hard for you."

"No. Same reason." I said

"Ohhh!"

"Actually, I loved someone. And I still love him afterall. When I saw him, my heart flutters."

"Do you remember me?" he asked

"I don't, but my heart remembers you." I said then smiled at him

"Pwede ko na bang gawin yung promise ko dati?"

"That we'll make good memories together?"

He nodded then smiled at me

"Yes we can. Wag ka magsawa ah." I told him

"I won't." he said then smiled

[Rhian's POV]

As expected. They were back together.

I was moving behind the bushes where I was hiding inside the restaurant. I was doing this to hear what they're talking about.

I was about to turn away and run but I bumped into someone. I flew. Good! Now I've been seen.

"Ouch." I whispered

"Rhian?" now he's headed towards me

"Oh hi Yuri! I'm just having a dinner with someone."

"Really? What a coincidence. I want to meet him."

"Nasa restroom eh." lies. lies! I was just stalking you!

"Troy? You're here? What are you doing?" Kyra asked

Siya pala yung nakabangga ko eh. Siya yung lalaki na... Yung.... OMG! I can't take it anymore! Ano siya ni Kyra?

"Hi Kyra! I'm just having a dinner with someone."

"Where is she?"

I looked at him. I'm desperate.

"It's her/him." we answered in unison

"Oh! Are you dating? You're suitable." Kyra told us

We just smiled at them. Syempre fake smile. Yuck! Bagay daw oh!

"Want to join us?" Kyra asked

"No thanks. We're about to leave." pagtanggi naman nitong kasama ko

I nodded nalang.

"Oh. Okay then." Yuri answered then smiled

This guy held my hand at lumabas na kami sa resto.

"Is that your ex?" he asked me

"Yes. And you?"

"Yes."

After that there was a big silence. It's awkward.

I suddenly discovered that he's still holding my hand.

"My... My hand." I told him

He looked at our hands and released mine.

"So-sorry."

"You're stalking them?" I asked

"No."

"Denial king. I know you're there to stalk them."

"Ikaw din naman ah."

"Wag mo ipasa sakin."

"Same goes for you." he told me before leaving me there with my mouth open

But then he goes back towards me and he pulled me.

We arrived at some stall beside the street, where you can eat ihaw-ihaw food.

"Ate pabili nga po ng twenty na isaw at barbecue. Pati na rin tong dugo. Atsaka??? Hmmm?...."

"Atsaka paa ng manok. Pati na rin tenga." pagpapatuloy ko. Napatingin naman sakin si Troy.

"Talaga? Tig bebente talaga yang order niyo?" tumango ako pati siya

"Ahh sige." sagot ni ate at inihaw na yung nga pagkain na kainin namin

"Tsaka po paorder ng dalawang 1.5 na coke. Padala rin po ng baso." sabi niya sa isang parang nagseserve

"O sige po." sabi niya naman

Mabilis naman na nadala samin yung coke. Maya maya ay sumunod na rin ang mga pagkain namin.

Tahimik lang kami habang lumalafang.

"Tulungan mo ko." I told him

"About?"

"About them. Tulungan mo ko mag move on and vice versa." I'm so desperate right now. What can I do? I was hurt.

"How can I do that?"

"Be my date."
