"Between Tailan getting arrested and the cancer eating at her slowly but surely I don't know which one is most deadly." She shook her head.
"Yeah man I can't believe him! Like out of all people. Before I left to go to New Orleans I told him to watch over of y'all. Look what he did ..fucked up like he always do!" I said feeling my world caving in.
I knew it was a reason why my mother came and spoke to me in my dream its because her dumbass son got himself locked up again. It's like he don't even care like he know his future is done. The judge specifically told him if she sees him again in her court room she's sending him to jail and he's never coming back out he will never know what the real world was like again.
I really hope he sees a new judge or by the grace of God she gives him another chance.

"Yeah, but I found out why my mother reached out to me." I sighed.

"Tailan,my oldest brother just got locked up." I rolled my eyes at his foolishness.
"Damn what he do?"
"I don't know my brothers saying probably gang affiliation and stuff dealing with drugs so that's like a buck and half of years." I felt like crying because he just doesn't think how it can affect the people that love him.
"Damn shawty, ya need something ya know to help get him out?"
"No I got it, trust me August this ain't the first time so I know how to deal with him. I'm rey go see him."
"Oh Aight ring my phone afta'wards."
"Ok bye."

"That's nice of him to offer to pay for Tailan's bail." Bre nodded. "Yeah it is."
"He must really like you." She said popping a hot pocket in the microwave. "What?" I laughed.
"He must like you, any other guy wouldn't do that for a girl they are just friends with." She shrugged. "Well August isn't just any other guy, he's a genuine man that's cares for others."
"Mm is that right?" She asked with squinted eyes. "It is." I nodded done with proving my point.
