After we finished our meal, we just sat and talked.

"Ok Hawaii?" I asked

"Yes," he said

"South Africa?"

"Of course," he said

"China?" I asked

"Three times. I've been more countries than I can even count"

"That must be fun to look out our window every now and then and see something different instead of two hobos fighting over a sandwich," I said and he laughed.

"Well tell me about yourself. You never do"

"What would you like to know?"

"Tell me about your family?"

"My mom is Guinean it's in West Africa, and my father is American. They divorced when I was 8 and I never saw him again. So basically the only family I have is on my mothers' side and that's only my aunt and grandma"

"Wow. You have any siblings?"

"Um...I did" I said lowly

"I'm so sorry," he said

"Its ok"

The violinist played 'The Power of Love' by Celine Dion

"You know this was my parent's wedding song," he said

I looked up at him "Mines too"

"Seriously?"

"Yes, I remember my parents would play it whenever it was their anniversary and they would dance," I said as the faint memories of my parents being together filled my mind.

"That's crazy. Celine Dion actually sang this song as my parent's first dance"

"Aw that's sweet...your parents still together?" I asked

"Uh no...They split when I was 11,"

"Oh, I think I remember. It was an ugly divorce"

"Certainly, it wasn't that unpredictable," he said

"Why do you say that?"

"Because I remember they would be affectionate towards each other then it just stopped, we stopped having dinner together, I would hardly even seen them in the same room and then...she left," he said low tone

I remember Queen Jane. She was very likable and kind. Everyone would go crazy for her. I think about 5 years ago her plane crashed miraculously she survived but is paralyzed from the from the waist down. I didn't want to bring it up, family was always a touchy subject.

"Hey," the Prince said as he gently touched my hand bringing me out of my mind "You alright?"

"Yes, I'm fine," I said

"Let's change the subject then," he said as he smiled sweetly "What do you want to do with your degrees?" he said as he sipped some wine.

"I wanna create recreational centers for at-risk children and teenagers but that's after I get my masters which is in the air right now," I said

"Where would you like to get your masters?"

"Anywhere at this point. It just has to be accredited and break the bank"

"Oh-"

"Don't get any ideas. I don't want to be your next charity" I said as I pointed at him. He lightly chuckled

"We have dessert on the house," Alyssa said bringing on a slice of double chocolate cake with a strawberry shaped into a heart

"Thank you," we both said
