Lt. Col. Paulus Wambe entered an office used as the command center of the GJANG military activities at Banten.

"Sir" he saluted his overall commander, Major General Maruli Siagian, commander of the Greater Jakarta National Guard, which was reading reports in his desk.

"At ease," said the 49 years old General to the Papuan man in front of him.

"Wambe, I'll say once again you demonstrate excellent leadership of your battalion, especially because they are volunteers and in peacetime, some of them will be rejected by the Army recruiters in physical tests. Now, I have news for your battalion."

"Good news or bad news, sir?"

"Both" the General replied. "Good news, my counterpart from Banten, Brig. Gen. Ali Mustopo (commanding officer of the Banten National Guard) has reported that the overall situation in Banten has been more stable to have several other Army units to be redeployed. The hunt of Ali Imron is still ongoing but it's the job of the commandos. And as you have lost one of your platoon CO, your replacement has come from Bandung" He continued.

"And the bad news is we will go to Bandung or somewhere in West Java, right General?" Wambe asked.

"Indeed it is, Colonel Wambe. This is your official order for your battalion; the 190th "Pelangi Nusantara" Volunteer Infantry Battalion effective today, had been chosen as one of the first to officially be given their own battle flag, and redeployment to Majalengka Regency, which has been relieved from the rebel incursions and reinforced 4 days ago by the West Java Guards (WJNG), to defend against NII and FDNI incursions and during that time, you must free Jatiwangi.

"And then you will support the Liberation of Cirebon if necessary, and final objective, the liberation of Tasikmalaya, and the surrounding town in order to reduce pressure and finally relieve the Pangandaran Pocket in which our forces there, the remnant of the 105th Infantry Brigade, West Java Guards, which were kept fighting by air and sea supplies. Your deployment is also for further reinforcing one of another volunteer battalion of ours, the 247th Ali Sadikin Battalion which had relieved the West Java Guard's 388th Pajajaran Battalion which had lost a third of its manpower in incursions from the rebels who want to capture the PTDI (Indonesian Aerospace) complex there and resulting counterattacks supported by West Java Guards, Currently, they are being refitted and retrained in Cimahi".

"I also will come to your base to give your unit your own standard. Good luck in the land of Parahyangan, because it's still a real mess there."

"Will do, sir"
