Tori didn't even know why exactly she was in Rocque Records waiting for some arrogant, stuck-up, egotistical popstar to tell her whether or not she was good enough to be his video girl. She only came to satisfy Trina, who couldn't go herself because of chicken pox. Tori promised to go, but she didn't say she was going to try.
"Excuse me miss, you dropped something."
Confused, she looks down, but finds nothing of interest on the ground. "What?"
"My number." A tall boy with what looked like the softest brown hair (even softer than Beck's) Tori has ever seen is suddenly there, standing like he owned the place. He was probably related to Zac Efron or Matthew McConaughey... he certainly had the body to match.
As if he read her mind, he extends a hand out in greeting. "James. James Diamond. We should go out and test the waters before I make you my video girl, don't you agree?"
She smiles. Maybe being a video girl wouldn't be so bad at all.
