Apparently there was a mircochip defect in which hackers can easily hack you, so many internet complaines are trying to counteract this by maintenancing their websites heavily.
People were losing access to their accounts on the internet because of the mircochip defeat, and Wattpad was one of these sites.
They were just trying to counteract the microchip defeat, which is why they are having heavy maintenace. The heavy maintenance is why we are experiencing major notifications problems.
