Chapter 16

The next morning, I woke up and looked to see Kendall asleep next to me. I looked below the covers and saw I was completely naked.

Oh. My. God. I. Just. Had. Sex. But. I. Can't. Remember. Anything.

I don't feel any different?

What the heck happened last night?

All I remember is being drunk and meeting Kendall.

Right on point, she woke up.

"Hey." she spoke sitting up and stretching.

"Hi." I said sitting up as well.

"So, you going to leave or?" she then asked.

"Oh." I said turning and putting on my boxers that were on the ground next to me. "Yeah, I'm gonna leave."

She nodded and stayed put as I got dressed.

When I was about to walk out of her door, I turned and said, "So how was it? I can't remember anything."

"You weren't anything."

"What?"

"You kept saying someone else's name when I was touching you."

"What was I saying?"

"Lou. You said her name over and over."

"Oh."

"Yeah, so, I stopped for a moment to tell you that my name was Ken and then you fell asleep."

"I fell asleep?"

"Yeah. I guess I bored you too much."

"No Kendall, you aren't boring."

She looked at me strangely.

"You didn't bore me. I promise."

"You sure?"

"I'm sure."

"Well, then do you want to try again tonight, but less drunk?"

"I can't." I answered.

"Why?"

"Plans."

"Some other time then?"

"Sure." I said and then left in a hurry.

Soon, after a bus ride home, I was walking into my dorm.

After I showered, changed, and sat at my desk to do some school work, Louis walked in.

"Hey." he said smiling.

"Hey." I said not so happy.

"Guess who also had sex last night?"

"Who?"

"Me!" he said happily. "I hooked up with this really hot chick."

"Cool." I nodded.

"So?" he asked nudging me. "How was your hook up?"

"I didn't hook up."

"Were you too scared?" he laughed.

"No." I said shaking my head.

"Then what?"

"She bored me." I lied.

"She bored you?" he asked completely stunned.

"Yeah." I nodded.

"How can a virgin say that their first hookup bored them so bad that they didn't even go through with it?"

"Well, I just said it."

Louis sat on my bed in shock.

"Oh my god, I may have created a monster."

I laughed at that.

"So, why did she bore you?"

I shrugged.

"Come on Sir Harold, tell me."

"Maybe because I'm-" I started but stopped.

I knew I shouldn't say what I was about to say, but I think it may be true. I don't feel fire and passion with girls. I only felt it with Louis... and he's a guy..."

"May be what?"

"I might be gay."

Louis didn't say anything, so, I turned around from my desk and saw him looking at the ground nodding his head.

"Hello?" I asked.

"Oh, sorry." he said looking up at me. "So, you think you're gay?"

"Yeah." I nodded.

"Well, do you want to go to a gay bar tonight then?"

"Louis." I said rolling my eyes. "No."

"Well, how are you suppose to loose it?"

I looked at him not saying anything.

"Oh no." he said shaking his head. "Hell no Harry. I'm not taking that from you."

"But, I trust you and I still want it to be taken by someone I care about."

"You care about me?"

"Yeah." I nodded. "You've helped me with a lot."

"I don't know Harry." He spoke shaking his head.

"How about this-" I started. "-How about tomorrow night, you take me on a 'date'. You take me to a nice restaurant, we drink some wine, walk around in the park you first took me too, and then we go back to your place, and if you feel it's right, we do it. So, the whole night we build up to it and you can see if it's really something you want to do. Plus, I get to check off dating a guy and one night stand off the list."

Louis looked at me for a long time before saying, "This isn't a real date okay?"

"Okay." I nodded.

"No strings attached."

"Okay."

"Then alright. I'll pick you up at seven."

"I always hear eight?"

"Well, seven is a reasonable time for dinner. Those people are stupid."

I laughed at that and then he left me to myself and my homework.
