We really don't know,
Everything that is to be,
So why focus on that?
The future isn't always happy.
And the past,
I can't even start,
I had hoped for last year too,
But with time, always comes a broken heart.
So this year, right now,
I won't let my heart shed a tear,
Last year is now gone,
And the future is here.
