Pitter patter pitter patter.

The sound of rain playing a dark symphony as it splashed against the umbrellas of the crowd gathered.

Pitter patter pitter patter.

I still could not believe my eyes.

Shocked. Betrayed. Hurt.

Death waits for no one.

She was the only one that I had left in this world. Tomorrow would have been our wedding.

My frantic sobbing intermingled with the quiet sobs of everyone else's.

Thump thump thump.

My eyes focused on the coffin in front of me.

Thump thump thump.

Panic has set in.

Can they not hear that?

Even I could see it moving.

Thump thump thump.

Gasps echoed. They heard.

I tried prying the coffin open.

Why is no one helping me?

Thump thump thump.

I looked around for something sharp but I couldn't find anything.

I need to see her. I was desperate to see her.

I focused on the task at hand. Screams filled the graveyard and I could hear the crowd running away.

I could hear her tears. They were growing louder.

Why isn't anyone helping me?

"Help me!" My voice drowned out by their screams.

I thumped harder against the insides of the coffin, darkness was all I could see.

THUMP.

THUMP.

THUMP.
