"3, 2, 1, happy new years!" people shouted as they were celebrating the new year.
ethan glanced at the girl beside him that he met at the party and kissed her. she was taken by surprise, but she realize that she had to make a move. the kiss that was supposed to last 5 seconds turned into a make out. they both stopped kissing and smiled.
then a flash light appeared, like someone took a picture. "gotta make memories" the girl that took the picture said and handed Ethan a polaroid.
"oh no" the girl that ethan kissed said once she saw the picture "I have to go". she walked away and ethan walked behind her "what's wrong? I haven't even gotten your name" ethan said and then stopped and saw the girl kiss another guy that was her "boyfriend" and left the party.
ethan stood there with sadness in his eyes and then looked at the polaroid that the random girl took and balled it up and placed it inside his pocket.
