"But I don't have a costume!" Vidhushi complained.

"No problem! It can be arranged." Kunal said as he quickly grabbed his phone and opened the door of the hotel room they were sharing.

It was already night and when she actually thought they were about to call it night, he had to come with the awkward offer of swimming under the stars. Who swims at night? The water must be so cold, she thought.

Whenever the two of them went on a trip together or within their friend circle, they always shared the same room. Sleeping in the same bed and eating from the same plate wasn't uncommon or strange for them. For Vidhushi to agree to such a thing, had a reason of her own. It helped her from facing Kunal's evergreen anger and possessive nature. At least, the closeness between them helped him to believe that she was not going away from him.

As soon as they lodged in their allotted room, they got fresh and had lunch together. They then went for a little walk on the front lawn made for the same purpose. Vidhushi had to agree that she enjoyed having a break from work. And it made Kunal happy too.

"Come on!" He gestured towards the open door.

"Are you serious! The water would be so cold. I won't go there." She said and quickly hid under the comfortable blanket.

Unfortunately, it was ripped away from her grasp in a flash and she mumbled profanities for him.

He laughed at her childish behavior.

"Did you forget the days we used to swim together? It used to be so much fun! Come on, Vidhu! Please." He begged. She just shook her head negatively.

"I don't wanna go."

He finally had to use the last weapon he had. He wasn't planning to tell her yet but she just was not accepting his offer!

"I have arranged 'it' there." He said winking.

That grabbed her attention. She knew what 'it' meant. It was a game they often played when they swam together. The one to grab the floating object and take the content out first got to dare the other person. And because they both swam very well, it always used to be a fierce game...or better say, a battle. But a battle of fun!

Immediately, she jumped out of the bed and made her hair in a messy bun.

"I am on!" She cheered and ran outside. Kunal could just chuckle. She always had the power to make him smile...only she could make him happy. How could he not fight for her...even if it meant fighting with her.

"No cheating... I am warning you." Vidhushi declared from the other end. Kunal was six feet to the left of the pool and she was standing six feet to the right of the pool.

"I can say the same thing." He said to which she chuckled.

"We know better who is the cheater here." She joked.

The clock was about to hit 9 pm and they both made themselves ready.

Her eyes scanned the glittering green ball analyzing where the lock would be. What kind of lock would it be? Tape or cross-linked wire? Then it hit her. Kunal had arranged the ball which meant that he already knew how to open it.

"That *******!" She cursed and soon she realized that the clock had hit 9 and he had taken a step closer to the pool.

'It's just for fun, Vidhu!' She consoled herself and ran towards the water with determination to win.
