Stepping on new land is a blissful experience; especially when the place is as beautiful as Kerala. The pilot announced the timing of arrival and the temperature outside.

Vishushi's mother held her hand firmly as she was scared of the periodical shivering of the plane.

"Ma, it will be fine!" She consoled her mother who was still holding her hand and praying in her mind.

Meanwhile, she changed her phone mode from flight to general. The plane soon landed and she unstrapped the seat belt for her mother as well as for herself.

"Come." She informed her mother.

As they came down the flight, she could smell the familiar scent of rain. Clearly, it had rained not very long ago. Rain was something she wasn't fond of. She didn't like the wetness and the sound of thunder scared her. To add to it, after getting wet, she had to take a shower which she really disliked.

But, she knew that she will be staying a good time in this new place where rain was the other name of weather. Entering the airport terminal, she guided her mother and went towards the luggage point to collect her bags. As soon as she saw the familiar black coloured bag, she took it out and waited for the other one. They did not bring a lot of things. Most of the things remained in her house in Goa. Finally waiting a good one minute, her blue coloured bag and her laptop bag reached her spot and she took it out effortlessly.

"Let's go, Ma." She informed her mother cheerfully.

"When will you go to the lab?" Her mother asked.

"Eleven. We will reach the flat by eight. I'll get fresh and leave for the lab by ten-thirty. I googled the lab and it's not very far from the place we will stay. Thank God!" She informed her mother.

They were about to reach the exit gate when someone held her hand firmly to which she squealed in reflex.

"Wha....." She was about to shout when she noticed that it was a policeman.

"Ma'am, you are stealing someone's bag." The policeman informed.

"What? No, I am not!" She replied calmly as she knew she was right.

"We need to take you under custody." He informed.

"I am not stealing any bag! I am telling you the truth. These are my bags." She replied now getting nervous.

"Please come with me. We can talk properly in there." He ordered.

"But, I have an urgent appointment." She pleaded. It was already the last day to report to the lab if the scholars accept the offer. From tomorrow, the application will be invalid. And the reporting time was exactly eleven; not a second late was entertained.

The policeman gave her a look that clearly warned her for further investigation.

"Fine!" She said and followed him to the security cabin. He directly took them to the inspector's room which further raised her nervousness.

The thought of calling Kunal came to her mind, but she quickly discarded the thought. No way was she going to take his help. It will only cause her more trouble.

When she entered the inspector's cabin, she found a higher-ranking official sitting on his chair. Her eyes involuntarily fell on the sofa where two businessman-looking men were sitting comfortably. Both were looking at her with anger as if she had just stolen their candies.

"Why am I here?" She asked the inspector politely despite how she felt. She was really getting angry now. Especially the kind of looks they were throwing at her was really irritating her.
