Chapter 27 *short*

The next day at school I kept on thinking about Hailie's party. Everyone was going. Maybe I should go, but I'd be ready for any of her tricks. We were having gym and we were on our breaks so I started towards my gym locker in the locker room. I opened my mini gym locker for my water bottle when Gabrielle and Jordan came over.

"Hey, guys!" I greeted taking a sip of water. I'm exhausted...

"Hey, are you going to Hailie's party?" Gabrielle asked tieing her sneeker laces

"I think so" I mumbled nervously and tried to avoid talking by drinking my water

"You think so? You're seriously going to her party after what she tried to do to your squad?" Jordan yank the bottle from my mouth.

"Don't worry. My guard is up. Besides I'm only going because Jacob is going," I take my bottle back

"You and Jacob got back together??" Gabrielle almost choked on her water

"No. Jacob Perez." I corrected fixing my ponytail.

 "Ooh..I didn't know you two had a thing"  Jordan cooed

"Thats so cute" Gabrielle added

Their faces lit up like the sun. What's so cute about that? I just simply moved on.

" Well we were, but he thinks I'm using him as a 'replacement' for Jacob and Tyler" I roll my eyes and lean against the lockers

"Replacement?? Do you still like Jacob or Tyler??" Gabrielle asked

"No." I answered coldy

"There" she nodded

"Try telling him that" I put my empty water bottle back in my locker

" Tomorrow we'll tell him" Jordan waved her finger at me

After school Jordan drove us to the mall. Gabrielle and I were the only two going to the party so Jordan tagged alone. Besides she loved Forever 21. She couldn't resist. While walking around we saw Hailie and three other girls.

"Oh, Hey Jamie! hey Jamie's less important friends" one of the girls teased

"Miranda, be nice! Hey, Jamie, Jordan and Gabrielle" Hailie greeted in a cheerful tone

"Okay this is scary... Why are you being nice? You hate us" I ask folding my arms waiting for an explanation

"I told you.... I'm a new me" Hailie sighed

"Okay" I nodded

" So we're shopping for party outfits" Hailie smiled and held up some shopping bags

"Same here..." I said awkwardly tring to adjust to the all new Hailie. Too good to be true.

"Cool. And Jamie I apologize for the whole Tyler thing. I was drunk and wasn't myself" she whispered

"Its okay. We're not even together" I shrugged my shoulders and pretended to be looking at a shirt as we walked

"Oh. So what happened?" she asked

"Nothing. So how's the party coming along?" I asked changing the subject

"Amazing! Too intense... You won't be able to handle it" she smirked

"Trust me. I will" I returned the smirk

"Hope so. hey, you guys wanna come over after school tomorrow?" Hailie asked

"Sure. I---" Jordan stopped me

"I'm busy and so is Gabby" I could tell she was lieing

"I'm not bu--" Jordan elbowed Gabrielle

"Remember we have a science project" Jordan plastered on a fake smile

"Thats okay. I can't believe you do your projects. Don't you have butlers for that?" Hailie rolled her eyes. She looked like she was about to puke at the thought of school.

Later after we picked our outfits (to the side>>>>>>>>>>>>>>) We hoped in Jordan's car and started for my house. I exited the car and waved goodbye to the girls then went inside.

Jordan's POV:

" I don't trust Hailie, Gabby. She may have Jamie wrapped around her little finger, but not me" I sighed as I started the car engine

"I don't trust her anymore than you do. We should find out what she's up to and I know just who from" Gabrielle smirked.
