Chapter 26

"You may all sit down" Their teacher on research told them as they all sat down. 

"Today class I'll be pairing you up for your activity, on the past few days we dealed with academic writing so I want you to do a research,it could be about anything as long as you'll follow the format of AW"

 "And here are the pairs" their teacher said, one by one their names are called, and Momo couldn't smile any wider when their teachercalled out her name and announced that her partner will be Mina.

 "Now I want you to go to your partner and start brainstorming now. Don't ever plagiarized or else you will see your paper torn to pieces andscattered in the air then I would write your score with a big red F minus on both of your partners forehead understood?"

 "Yes Ma'am!" They all said in unison as they all stand up and go to their respective partners. 

"And I almost forgot the dead line of passing is on Friday which is tomorrow"All the students groan when they heard that unacceptable news.

 "Any objections" she asked with a raised eyebrow that even if you wanted to object you won't do it because she's hella scary.

 "Good! Now continue your work and if I took a liking on what you did, you might be exempted on making a thesis" And that fired up theclass because who would want to do a thesis statement.They all started to discuss on what they would be researching and MiMo choose Jokbal as their topic with Momo insisting it.

 "Where will we be doing it?" Momo asked gleefully since she would be able to spend time with Mina again. 

"Let's just do it at your house but I will go home first to get my laptop"

 "Okay, I will just wait for you-" 

"No. Bambam will, go home I will just go there" Mina replied causing Momo's smile to fall but she smiles again not wanting to show Minathat she is sad. 

"Okay. I will just wait at my house."Since research was their last subject today aertaking up all the time in talking to each other they could finally go home.Momo was about to bid goodbye to Mina but she is already talking to Bambam so Momo just smiles sadly and she decided to go home afterbidding goodbye to everyone.

Momo's heart beats faster when she found the door open her Mom and Dad isn't home and she made sure she locks the door before sheleaves.Momo nervously walked towards the kitchen where the sound was coming from while holding the thinker statue with her that would serveas her weapon.

 "Yaaaahh~!" Momo shouted as she was about to hit the person.

 "Hirai Momo!"Momo instinctively stops when she recognize the voice. 

"Mom! You almost gave me a heart attack I thought their was a bandit"

 "And you almost smashed my head with that" 

"I'm sorry you didn't tell me you where coming home, what took you so long you said it was only a week?" Momo engulfed her Mother witha bear hug. 

"I texted you but I didn't try to call since I know you're at school, sorry it took so long I had to fix something and the client was sodemanding-" Momo's Mom stops talking when she noticed that her only daughter was crying, she immediately cups her daughter's facethen wipes the tears. 

"Hey~hey~ Honey why are you crying?"Momo shakes her head as she sniles. 

"I just missed you Mom" Momo simply stated flashing her dorky smile but Mrs. Hirai knows that wasn't the case, she could see it even if herdaughter was trying to masked it with a smile. 

"I miss you too" Mrs. Hirai said before planting a kiss on Momo's forehead. 

"Please don't tell Daddy that I cried I don't want him to worry, I know that he's really busy. Please~" Momo begs showing her puppy eyes. 

"I won't." 

"Oh! And Mom. Mina is coming over!" Momo said and her Mom immediately noticed that her mood brighten up. 

"Alright- alright, now go and fixed yourself you still have a snot out" 

"Mom! I don't have any snot!" Momo replied while running up to her room to get change, ofcourse she has to look good and smell good,her precious Mina is coming over.Moments later Mina came, a laptop with her. 

"Just go upstairs Momo's there" Mrs. Hirai said.

"Thanks, ma'am" Mina said as she bows again and went to Momo's room.And Momo was there lying on her tummy facing her computer. 

"Ehem!" Mina faked a cough since Momo didn't notice her.

 "Mina! I didn't notice you, come in, I was starting to search" Momo said as she taps her side.

 "No thanks, I would just do my work on the study table"And so they started to work on their research by dividing the work into two asking questions occasionally, mostly Momo and it was allrevolving around their research since she knows Mina won't entertain her and the latter might walk out if she asked and bothered her witha non-research related questions, guess having Mina near was enough.

Mina finished her work and she noticed that Momo was quiet which was unusual so she turn her head to find the girl was sound asleep. 

Mina stood up from the chair, take Momo's laptop on the study table then carefully sits on the bed.

 "Why are you so stubborn?" Mina whispered while taking the strands of hair that's blocking Momo's face out of the way. 

"You're making things much harder for me than it already is, don't you know?" Mina continues as she taps Momo's nose then her eyeslanded on the latter's lips.

 Couldn't stop herself, Mina lean in and softlykissed the latter not wanting her to wake up.Just this time... 

Only this time.. 

Mina would let her heart take control.
