SUN AND THE MOUNTAIN

It was so calm and quiet,

Silently the nature was mocking me behind,

For the big battle I lost,

My folly, like the leaves could not be hidden even by the frost.

The cold day became warmer, as the frost vanished away,

But it looked as if the sky was going to sleep, pulling its blanket of silky black clouds.

I had lost my hope, just as had the sun behind the cloud on that day.

Like the cloud my sorrow too was winding around me like a shroud.

I was too far from where I was supposed to be,

I had lost hopes of victory,

Now the sky in its darkest, began to cry,

My face too with the tears looked wry.

I fell down from a step before-almost there,

Everything shattered forever, someone please help

I asked myself my courage has gone where?

We fell down together, answered myself.

But hope is the only thing stronger than fear,

For I'm a mountaineer,

The sun too will climb back up,

Come on, move on, pack up and get up!
