Bibby :
I pulled on my red adidas jacket and grabbed my keys. Herbo and ManMan were outside, waiting. I glanced at the broad who was stretched out on my bed.
I shook my head and rushed down the steps. Herbo was flirting with some girl, while her friend stood there annoyed. Not to mention she was a cutie pie. I licked my lips as she rolled her light brown eyes at ManMan.
"Can we please go?" She whined
"Girl hush your preppy ass up" Her friend quickly shuts her down
"You don't wanna hang with us baby?" ManMan pushed up on her
"Ew no" She brushes her jacket off
"Where you tryna go lady?" I speak up catching her eye
"Bookworm, here is on the way to the library" Her friends rolls her eyes at the remark
"C'mon I'll take you" I motion for her to follow me
"Thanks" She murmurs
"Old man in a young nigga body" I see Mally walking up
"Don't start Mal" I scowl
I slip into the driver seat as she slides into the passenger seat. I glanced at her as she pushed a curl out her face, adjusting her glasses.
This girl here was a beauty.
Trinity:
"Thank you.." I paused for him to say his name
"Bibby" He chuckles
"Bibby" I smile slightly
"You welcome" He grins a little "Did you need a ride home too?"
"No sir" I notice his face frown up a little
"You know walking these street by yourself isn't good?" Concern feels his voice
"My roommate is waiting for me inside, she's my ride" I murmur quickly
He nods his head and starts his car back up. I give him a shy wave and quickly thank you again, heading inside. I glanced back seeing that he had pulled out the parking space.
My eyes scanned the library in search of Alice. I found her in the corner surrounded by books and her MacBook Pro. A smile appeared on her face as I reached the table.
"Finally, I missed you" She hugs me
"Sorry, Tamia got caught up in talking to some hoodlum" I roll my eyes at the thought of it
"She's always chasing after them no good boys" She scoffs
She had a point. Tamia always chased these dope-dealers and wanna be rappers. They only wanted her for one thing and vice versa. But when they seen she wasn't giving it up, they left her for somebody who was.
Don't get me wrong, there's nothing wrong with a little thug love. But sometimes is good to branch out and try something new.
Through my study date, my mind drifted off to Bibby. He was so handsome and humble, it was breath taken. He was nothing like that ManMan guy. And his voice sent chills down my spine.
Alice shuts her notebook and places it in her bag. I gather my notebook and place it into my small backpack. Alice and I were heading over to Applebee's for dinner.
Once we stepped into the grill, there was Tamia and the guys from earlier. This time they had more people with them and they all seemed to be in deep conversation.
Alice slides of her jacket and grabs hold of the menu. I pulled the hair tie off my wrist and pulled my hair into a high ponytail, then grabbing hand sanitizer out my pocket.
"Is this seat taken?" A familiar voice pulls me out my thoughts
"No" I say above a whispers as Bibby stares at me with a grin
"Ooo, who is this fine human?" Alice coos making hide my face
"Brandon" He says reaching his hand out for her to shake
"Alice, Trinity's bestfriend" Alice smiles at him
It wasn't long before one of his friends joins us. He instantly sparked a conversation with Alice. Bibby chuckles cause me to look at him, confusingly.
"48 Laws of Power huh?" He motions towards my newly checked out library book
"Yeah" I slightly chuckle
"It's a great book" He smiles at me showing his amazing smile
"I'm assuming you read this already?" I smirk at him earning a head nod and short "Yup"
We placed our orders, handing over our menus to the waiter. Some girl approaches our table, pausing our conversation.
"Herbo wants to know are y'all hitting the kickback tonight?" She checks me and Alice
"Nah, I'm staying in" Bibby says bluntly to her
"I got a study date" Squeak jokes
"You don't even read boy" She laughs
"I do now" Squeak bites his lip at Alice causing her to face to flush red
"Bye Shanse" Bibby shoos her away from the table
I chuckle as she quickly pops him, making him swear under his breath. His ear were slightly red as his calm temper down.
"Sorry bout gang" He places his attention on me once again
