When we left Xavier's aunt house, I had mixed emotions, I was angry and sad. I was angry because he hid that he was leaving from me. I was sad because he was leaving to Seattle, all the way across the country and then with the drama between my mama and his aunt. I should have known it was too good to be true. I was in my room playing my sad/heartbreak playlist on my speaker. Making myself sad. Tears creeping out my eye down the side of my face.

"Fine, happy now." I turned the music down.
"I said TURN. IT. OFF." She said while clenching her teeth.
"OKAY!" I turned the stereo off.
