Start from the beginning

We stay silent looking at the road.

"Tell me about yourself. I feel like it's forever."

"It's not much."

"You're office worker. That's something."

Not anymore. What should I say?

"well, All I do is make calls and paper work."

"At least the pay is good, right?"

"it's alright. it sucks to be glue in my chair even through lunch hours to get work done."

"I'm actually kind of surprise you went for that kind of job."

"What job you thought I was going for?"

"Well, when we were in high school, you always write in your notebook in class making funny faces. I assume you were going to a writer. "

Crap!!!!!!!! He notice me at that time.

"I was?" I said.

"Yeah, even the teachers notice," he said chuckling.

I cover my face, "How embarrassing."

He laugh, "it was cute."

My face turn red.

He call me cute......

"Did you stop writing?" He ask.

" I  stop when I went to college."

"You should go back to them," he said.

"No way, those stories were weird and stupid."

"You did love them at that time, right?"

"yeah, when I was a naïve high school girl."

"I went back to my old photos in high school. They were embarrassing, but the men from back then enjoy them more. I still like what I do because I went back looking at them how far I came."

"Adam, you took a risk. You choose something you love. You made it through."

"You can do it too."

"I'll just be crumbled again."

Adam grab my left hand and kiss on top of it.

I was stun.

"A-Adam!" I stammer.

The Adam I know was never this the charmer. What's going on?

"You shouldn't think that way. I know you will do well." He said still holding my hand.

My face is burning.

Adam park the car in the parking lot across street was the restaurant we were going. We got out of the car. We walking out of the lot. Adam sneakily held my hand. I nearly yank it away.

"Sorry for scaring you like this, you don't mind I hold it little longer," he said with a goofy grin.

I'm not use to the attention I'm getting from Adam.

In high school, I was the run chasing after him, but he's chasing after me.

It feels strange.

My old feelings for him are slowly coming out. I don't mind.
