"The Lost Spirit is the spirit of whom has been influenced directly by Bill Cipher. It is a curse placed upon him and him alone by an ancient people whom modern humans refer to as the Mesopotamian people. The first civilization. The Lost Spirit is different from the normal human spirit. The Lost Spirits, while undoubtedly wronged by being placed in this duty, are to be the torturers for the demon. Forever wandering, we are there to torment Cipher whenever he may come across a new victim. Our mere existence throws off the demon, as we do not follow the rules of the normal ghost. If we complete our goal in death that we had set in life, we must still wander the surface of Earth and will never reach our afterlife until the demon leaves our plane of existence permanently or the demon burns up our spiritual energy.

The demon knows nothing of this curse, and therefore will never understand why all those whom have died by his hand or have died in his witness still persist in this realm."

Your eyes widened in shock. You were a Lost Spirit. You had been influenced by Bill.

"(Y/N)!" Bill screamed in your ear. You jumped and flew up, and probably would have kept flying if Bill had not grabbed your leg and pulled you back down. "What the hell?! I was trying to get your attention and all you were doing was staring at a blank page!"

"I... what?" you mumbled stupidly.

"Ugh, whatever. Hold out your hand," Bill demanded. You did as you were told and held out your hand. Bill hesitated for a moment. "Okay.. just... you're going to get really cold... tell me if you start to feel yourself fading, please. As soon as you feel like you're fading away, tell me and I'll stop, okay?"

You simply nodded. Bill looked at the ground for a long while, thinking about something. Then he looked back up at you and snapped his fingers, the fire sparking and lighting up his hand. Just as Bill had warned, you were instantly freezing. You held your arms close to your chest, shivering.

"Okay, take my hand. We're making a new deal," Bill instructed.

Without hesitating, you took his hand. Curious, you asked, "What is this new deal?"

"I give you some of my power. In return, you stay with me as my... significant other, as you humans call it, for the rest of eternity."

"Fine by me," you said with a smile.

And as soon as this transaction of words was completed, Bill let go of your hand and you were no longer freezing. "Quickly, now! Your heart's going to freeze soon so repossess your body before it does!" Bill yelled over the wind that had picked up.

You nodded again and ran to your body, soon finding yourself in one hell of a frozen meat locker as your heart beat slowly, struggling to catch up to speed. It was odd, though. You didn't quite feel like you belonged. But that feeling slowly went away as you felt something warm overcome your chest. It felt like a fire was burning inside your rib cage, warming your entire body. You felt like a machine as your rhythmic heart beat along throughout your body.

Then you felt something snake around your body. You looked down and found Bill's arms quite literally wrapped around you. It looked as if his arms were nothing but ropes.

"Thank god you're back..." Bill mumbled into the fluff of your jacket. It was almost as if whatever tough guy act Bill had put on was suddenly shut off.

You smiled and awkwardly patted his back. "Thanks for the powers, too. I'm not even cold anymore. Feels like my heart was set on fire," you said, avoiding hitting Bill's top hat with your face.

"It is on fire."

You choked on the air around you, "W-what...?"

Before Bill could explain, you both were interrupted by someone screaming on the top of the ridge.
