We all bleed the same,
However I bleed in vain.
The blade cold against my flesh.
Flinching in pain, I look down —

The crimson red expanding...
Blood pooling at my wrists...
Dripping down to my feet.

In this small moment, I feel relieved.
I'm always searching high and low,
for an escape.

He told me he loved me yet—
The day when he left,
he couldn't look me in the eye.
He didn't even say goodbye...

I'm so alone now...
I don't want to cry —
But I keep hanging on and,
It's getting harder each day.

I'm scared...
I want to run away.
Love shouldn't be this way.
