Oh I've tried but,
I can't fight it —
When I saw you...

I started shaking
And then I was awakened

Is this a dream?
I didn't want this...

Because
This is not me.

I wonder if you saw —
all my insecurities,
that I tried to conceal.

I couldn't keep my cool,
I thought I had you fooled.

And now,
my chest is tightening
Slowly
I'm breaking.

I'm shivering inside.
I feel so scared,
even with you by my side.
