He crosses his arms away from her,
she begs him to not walk away.
"Please... please — just stay..."

Does he have to leave her behind?
Doesn't he even know —
how much she loves him so?

He says he's in love with her...

yet he decided to let her go.

She still had hope...
Somehow she became like...
a never-ending rope.

Trying to hold on,
to someone —
someone who was already gone.

She thought he would come back—
but he couldn't.
This was the only way to keep her safe.

She pretended she didn't have a clue.
But deep down she really knew —
how her love only grew...

She looked and looked but he was so hard to find.
Only one thought came to mind,
She will wait...

Still, she only thought of —
Just how much he made her heart race.

But her one and only love —
had disappeared without a trace.
