Sunday morning, rain is falling.

I steal some covers, he shares some skin.

Clouds are shrouding us in moments unforgettable.

He twists to fit the mold that I am in.

"Things just get so crazy. Living life gets hard to do. And I would gladly hit the road, get up and go if I knew. That someday it would lead me back to you. That someday it would lead me back to you." Kendall quietly sings along with the song that's playing.

I smile, turn to him and mumble rather than I sing ; "That may be all I need. In darkness, you are I see. Come and rest your bones with me. Driving slow on Sunday morning. And I never want to leave."

His fingers trace my every outline.

He paints a picture with his hands.

Our life can be difficult at times, back and forth we sway like branches in a storm.

But no matter how many times the weather changes, we're still together when that storm ends.

Kendall smiles, picks a flower from the vase that's on the nightstand and puts it behind my ear.

I chuckle and he leans in for a kiss.

"In darkness she is all I see, come and rest your bones with me." I feel his lips whispering against my neck.
