[Discontinued]
I am standing here by myself, alone. My hands, freezing and almost feeling numb to me. I turn around to look at my car, parked in the same position where it was a year ago. The time this stupid thing stopped in the middle of this hig...
"Oh God!" you sighed as you stepped out of your car.
"Why?! Why does it always happen to me?! What's wrong with my fate!!!??"
This was not the first time your car stopped in the middle of the road. Because you were studying mechanical engineering, most of the time you somehow managed to fix your car, while in other cases you either had to call your dad or call for help.
You tried to restart your car, but it didn't work. You couldn't figure out what the problem was and you can't even call your dad because you were in a totally different state from where you and your family lived.
Also, this is your first time traveling alone to which your mom strongly disapproved at first but later gave you the permission as you convinced her to realize you are an adult now. You knew you'll be in trouble if they hear you are stranded in the middle of a highway in a totally unknown state, and you can already imagine the scene your mom will create --
"I told her not to go... didn't I!! Oooh, What's gonna happen now!!? What if she gets lost?! WHAT IF SOMEONE KIDNAPS HER!!??!?!? OH, LORD! (Y/n)'s father, do something!!"
"There's no way I'm informing them. Even the thought of her reaction scares me!" you said to yourself.
You kept trying to figure out what the problem was until you heard a limousine stop near your car. You've never found yourself as terrified as you were when the driver was lowering the car window. The black limousine gives you a feeling that there is a possibility of it consisting of some gangsters, or, who knows, a 'Don'. You are totally unfamiliar with the state and knew nobody there that could help you.
"Who is he? What does he want from me?" - you thought as you tried to stay as calm as possible.
"Is there something wrong, mam?" the driver asks.
"My car just stopped out of nowhere...I thought I could fix it but it turns out I can't." His way of talking looked quite decent to you. So, instead of saying "no" you told him your problem hoping to get some help. Sometimes 'mafias' can be generous too!
The driver turns around and speaks with someone...probably the 'DON'. Soon the passenger compartment door opens from the inside and a tall guy, with a beanie and black face mask on, steps out. From no such angle, he looks like a gangster. You are safe!
"Is there any way we can help?" he asks the moment he approached you. For a second you got distracted by his voice for how familiar it sounded.
"Umm...I'm not sure what the problem is though!" you said as soon as you snapped back from your thought. "I think I should call for a tow truck and get a taxi for myself. Thanks, by the way."
"If you don't mind me asking, where are you heading to?"
"Uhm, I was going to this hotel called (H/n)."
"Oh, cool! We are going there as well! We can give you a lift..."
"Oh no, thanks! I don't wanna bother you guys." ... "and besides you are a total stranger to me" - you thought.
"Don't worry! You won't. And... you can trust us." you are pretty sure he knew why you rejected. But you are still not sure whether you should go with him or not.
"I have no intention of making you uncomfortable," he said very gently, "but trust me it's not that easy to get a taxi here. And this place isn't very safe either! It won't be right for us leaving a girl in the middle of a highway knowing that she might get in danger!"
"Damn! He's such a gentleman!! I'm REALLY flattered..." - your heart tells you.
"I very much appreciate that!" you smile at him.
"Are you carrying anything with you?" he asked.
"Yeah! I have a small suitcase in my car..." he nods and immediately walks to your car where he spots a black suitcase. He then opens the car door and grabs the suitcase to put it in their limousine.
"You didn't really have to...but thanks a lot!" you tell the gentleman as you locked your car and walked to the limousine.
"Mention not! My friends in the car will be more than happy to help you."
You started wondering how many friends he got in the car as you stepped in. There were six of them and they all greeted the moment they saw you. You greeted them back while you sat near the guy with grayish-blonde hair. After a while, the tall guy comes in and sits right across from you, closing the car door. Soon, the car starts moving and you've estimated that it will take you guys at least half an hour to arrive at the hotel.
