~Samantha's POV~
OMG! OMG! Anong gagawin ko?!
"Miss David?"
Napakurap-kurap ako. Saka ko lang napansin na nakatitig na pala ako sa kanya.
A smirk made its way to his face. I remember those times when he used to tease me, back in Philippines. And I miss it. I miss him.
But I shouldn't show it. Aminado akong ako ang nang-iwan. At makakasira ng pride ko kung ako ang unang magsasabi na namimiss ko siya.
I should show him I'm tough enough. I should make him say the word first.
"Why?"
"Are you even listening? Is my face a distraction to you?" nakangising sabi niya. But his eyes were showing the opposite reaction. They were cold.
Shet, Adrian!
No!" sabi ko saka umayos ng upo. "Of course not. I am listening."
"Good to hear," sabi niya. "Anyway, like what I've said earlier, if you are REALLY listening," pagdidiiin niya sa salitang 'really'.
"What?"
"I'll fetch you tomorrow. I'll be the one to take you to Times Square since our company will help yours in the construction of your branch here." tila bored niyang sabi.
"What time?" I asked. I should've insisted Roxy to come with me. Ugh!
Tumingin siya sa orasan niya. "Uh, 6' in the morning?"
Nanlaki ang mga mata ko. "6'? Are you kidding?"
"Do I look like one?"
Umiling ako. "But--"
"That's the only free time I have. I'm occupied with the next hours."
Tumaas ang kilay ko. "Occupied? What might make you occupied, huh?" As far as I know, wala naman siyang reason para maging okupado.
"My family."
"Family? Ghad, Adrian! I know you. Your parents already died when you were little. What family are you saying?" tanong ko.
"My OWN family. My wife and my twins."
