Dragons sacrifice(a DenNor fanfic) old version

Chapter 2

Mathias POV

Oh my gods it's really him, Lukas...Nor. Soon after my discovery I come to the realization, I'm in my dragon form, ....oh crap he must be terrified right now.

I shift down to my human sized form right after that realization, it hurts a bit but I don't want to scare him so it fine. He looks stunned at my transformation then, there was a small shift in his facial expression, which is normally blank, revealing a hint of realization but also sadness, he mumbled something under his breath that I couldn't quite hear even with my enhanced senses

"what was that" I ask "nothing it's just that you kind look like an old friend" "that I had a huge crush on except a way hotter version of him"he mumbled that last part with a dark blush on his face, that clearly was not meant for me to hear, but again super hearing so I could hear him plain as day. I blush darkly at that last comment

"what was his name" I had to be sure he was taking about me before I made my next move

"what?" He questioned

"what was his name " I repeat again Lukas looked down almost smiling...He never smiles, but it soon turned sad as he said "Mathias Køhler, it kinda funny how you have the same first name as him, he was my best friend, my only friend and crush and he died because of you" he spat out angrily, I could see tears in his eyes, I looked at him with concern and hope in mine.

"You know what really funny" I said "what you drittsekk"he said coldly "my last name is also Køhler" I say with a hopeful smile on my face hoping he believes me "what do you mea.." his eyes widen at the sudden realization the tears he was holding back feel by the dozen "I'm alive Nor, please believe me I don't know what I'll do if you don't, I know I look different but it's still me" I said, his eyes widening further with the nickname I always used to call him by.

He ran towards me faster than I've ever seen anything run and hugged me, well actually more like jumped on me, and I, of course caught him in my arms. We stayed like that for the longest time neither of us daring to break from the other, until Lukas slightly pulled away mumbling some incoherent words with a shocked and slightly scared look on his face.

I look down at him with concern " what's wrong Nor" "I just confessed to you" he said, what is he taking about why dose he look so scared now

"What do you mean nor " I say."oh um nothing to worry about", I know he's lying I could hear the quickening of his heart as he said that, why dose he still look scared, is it me? I sadden at the thought, do I scare him now, "hey um Lukas are you...are you scared of me, dose my appearance freak you out" he stares at me for a few seconds before responding, I don't want to scare him, I-I love him so...

"no why would it" he replied, back in his monotone voice that I had come to love, I release a breath I didn't realize I was holding

"if anything it makes you look hotter" he mumbled, then looks mortified at his own words and his cheeks turn a dark crimson as well as mine, he breaks away completely from our embrace and sprints of to the other side of the cave

"hey were are you going" I yell across the cave cheeks still red, he stops and turned around to face me , although he really didn't because his head was down

"nor please look at me" I say , he looks up and there are tears as well as fear in his eyes agin "nor why are you crying" I question, even though I think I know the cause "well Mathias you see, I've liked you for so long even after I thought you were dead, when I thought you were dead I could just move on eventually and I was happy with that because then you could never reject me but now your alive and I-I-I think I'm head over heals in love with you but I know you'll never feel the same and I just can't help but love you even with this knowledge" I look at him in shock again, I seam to be doing that a lot lately "nor i" " no, no just shut up I don't know if I can handle rejection as well as betrayal and starvation"

Just then his stomach growled, the sound being amplified by the cave walls "wow that was pretty loud when was the last time you ate Lukas" "last night" he mumbled embarrassedly "I guess I'll go get some dinner then"

I shift my wings into a takeoff position and fly out the cave, now what can I make him for dinner, I thought, then it hit me he used to love a certain kind of fish maybe I can impress him with the fact that I remember that combined with some awesome fish. I head down to the river and quickly catch some tasty looking fish, well to me that is, then again I typically eat them raw because you know dragon so yeah.

I rush back to the cave and begin cooking the fish in a small part of the cave I use as my kitchen, I walk back to where I left Lukas hoping to clear thing up and tell home the truth, only to find him asleep.

It must have been a rather tiering day for him, I mean being betrayed by your village and then finding out that you best friend you thought was dead is actually alive and a dragon...I'll let him sleep till the fish is done. I walked over to him and looked down at his sleeping figure, he's so cute and peaceful I just want to... um... n-nevermind.

"Mathias" he said while sleeping, huh, me?! I lean down closer to him and eventually decide to just lay down next to him.

I roll onto my side and just stare at that perfect face of his, until he rolls towards me and latched onto me, I couldn't move, he rolled over onto my wing and his arms and legs are rapped around the rest of me, I could feel all the blood rush to my face...and a bit down south.

I can't take it any more ugh!!"l-Lukas wake up p-please" I say with a plea, he began to stir, and looked up at me with the cutest face ever, I don't know how much more of this I can take without doing something I might regret later on.

So second chapter, I will up load the next in probably the next few days or so, I already have the rough draft for it I just want to kinda flesh it out a bit more and review it and it'll be up, that's all for now see ya next chapter
